The first item players should inspect when considering casinos to play at is their safety. Here, I look at Wintari’s licence, responsible gambling, and security.

The Responsible Gambling page in Wintari offers players the following resources:

Wintari also provides players with their transaction history and a session timer, which are both helpful tools. I would like to see reality checks complement the timer, though. I also want to see Wintari offering tools to set limits on deposits, losses, wagers, and session lengths. So, while the casino offers many useful resources, it also lacks several useful tools.

What makes Wintari safe

Going through the casino’s website, these are the security measures Wintari has implemented:

• Financial information is not stored on the casino’s website
• All passwords are encrypted
• Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
• Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policy
  

Wintari is not very transparent about its security, nor has it implemented as many measures as I would like to see. I found no mention of a Data Protection Officer. I found no option for two-factor authentication protection for my account. I could not find whether the website is encrypted and what type of encryption it employs (it states that passwords are encrypted, so we can assume the website is, but I wish the casino told me more about it).

Wintari is a safe casino, even if it lacks the true meat and potatoes I would like to see when it comes to responsible gambling and website security.

Bonuses and offers at Wintari

Let’s hope Wintari leaves no meat missing from its casino bonuses, though, right? Here, my Wintari review switches gears, looking at the casino’s welcome bonus, regular offers, tournaments, and loyalty program. 

Wintari’s welcome bonus

While a casino’s licence and safety are what players need to inspect first, often it’s the welcome bonuses that initially attract players to casinos. So, what’s Wintari’s deal for newcomers?

New Winatari players can claim a 200% welcome bonus of up to $1,500 with their first deposit of at least $20.

The bonus money comes with a 30x wagering requirement that must be met within 3 days. The requirements themselves are on the low side of the industry standard, which is nice, but the time allotted to meet those requirements is slim.

Still, at a 200% match percentage, Wintari is hookin’ players up with a massive boost to start their journey at the casino.

Regular bonuses

Wintari offers players only one regular bonus, but it’s a good one: players can receive 10% cashback bonuses every day with a minimum deposit of $15. Players must deposit during the day to receive 10% cashback the next day, based on their net losses from the previous day. What’s particularly awesome about the offer is that the cashback comes with no wagering requirements and no rollover requirements; it is available for withdrawal immediately.

Promotion and tournaments

5 tournaments were available during my Wintari review. All five were network-run tournaments from studios like Play’n GO and Playson that included drops & wins, jackpots, and races with prize pools ranging from $30,000 to $15,000,000.

Payment methods at Wintari in Canada

Wintari accepts a good collection of popular casino payment methods in Canada, including credit cards and e-wallets. Not many of them are also accepted for withdrawal, though.

Minimum deposit and withdrawal processing times

The minimum deposit at Wintari is $30, which is a tad high, although not bad.

Withdrawals are processed in 1-3 days by Wintari (provided all requested KYC checks have been satisfied), and then the transaction must go through the payment provider. Typically, money arrives in player accounts within 2-4 business days.

Let’s have a little more fun, shall we? Here, my Wintari review focuses on the casino’s game collection, assessing its online slots, live casino, and provider list.

While I like Wintari’s selection of online slots, I do wish the casino organized them more than it has. Categories for bonus buy slots and jackpots are good, but why not have categories for high volatility slots, cluster slots, and cascading slots, as well? I could think of a lot more categories than just those, too.

The selection is good, even if it isn’t the biggest I’ve seen, and features some of my favourite slots:

User experience at Wintari

Here, I assess the casino’s user experience by looking at Wintari’s customer support, website navigation, and mobile performance.

Wintari’s customer support

Wintari has a detailed Help Centre and FAQ page, which is useful. The casino has a 24/7 live chat if that doesn’t satisfy your query. The chat is monitored by an AI agent that screens your question before passing you to a live agent.

Waiting for the live agent to respond is the problem here, because it can take some time before you are helped (I waited 2 hours before giving up). This left me questioning how “live” Wintari’s live chat actually was. Wintari can also be contacted by email, which provides the most reliable responses, but takes the longest.

User navigation at Wintari

Wintari offers a straightforward website experience overall. It’s not hard to figure out.

The simple layout makes the website very comfortable. The biggest challenge was finding my account settings, which is not something I would describe as “difficult” (top right, an unlabeled downwards-pointing arrow).

I do wish the casino did a better job organizing its game library into more categories, though.

Wintari mobile experience

As a fully optimized website, Wintari is ready for use on the go, working smoothly on phones and tablets. 

Those who prefer the type of mobile apps that many of the best mobile casinos offer will have to look elsewhere, unfortunately, as Wintari does not have an app.

Popularity of Wintari

We reach the end of my Wintari review with this section. Here, I interpret the public’s opinion of the casino by reading user reviews online, chat forums, and social media comments.

A win at the end of the day?

At the end of the day, maybe, but at the beginning it definitely is, because Wintari has a welcome bonus that feels worth it: 200% up to $1,500 with 30x wagering. That’s enticing.

As long as players deposit the minimum amount, they can claim 10% cashback for the net losses related to the deposited funds with no wagering and no rollover requirements. That means they are immediately withdrawable (provided you have completed the casino’s KYC requirements).

Those all feel like wins. As do the cryptocurrency options accepted by the casino if you’re a crypto user: it’s a long list. Fiat users won’t complain too much either, until they need to withdraw, perhaps, but it isn’t like Wintari doesn’t provide fiat withdrawal options – it does – so it won’t be too much of a complaint.

I will complain about my experience with the live chat support, though. I am still waiting for a live agent. Not good.

Counting a few other small blemishes, and the casino’s poor but fresh reputation as a new casino, my Wintari review concludes with a 62/100 final rating.
