Visit our ‘How We Review Casinos’ page to read a detailed explanation of our review process, the process that guides this Westace review and divides it into these six parts:
- Westace’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
- Bonuses and offers from Westace
- Payment methods accepted by Westace
- Westace’s game selection
- The user experience at Westace
- Popularity of Westace
Westace’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
I begin my Westace review with the most important aspect of online casinos in Canada: their safety. I’ll first uncover the casino’s licence, and then assess its responsible gambling page and security.
Legal gambling age
The legal gambling age in Canada is 19 years old, although Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec require individuals to be 18. Online casinos must verify every player’s age to prevent minors from gambling.
Provinces and territories are regulated provincially. Ontario’s gambling market, for example, is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
Read more on our Licensing page.
Westace’s licences
I could not find a mention of Westace’s licence on their website. The live chat agent would not tell me either. I emailed the casino, and that gave me an answer:
- Costa Rica
Responsible gambling in Westace
It’s a fine Responsible Gambling page on Westace’s website, but it also misses quite a bit. This is what the casino offers for RG support:
- A commitment to responsible gambling
- Basic RG advice
- A self-assessment test
- Links to Help organizations
- Self-exclusions
- A link to a parental control filter
Those are all important resources I expect to see on a casino’s RG page, but where are the tools? Self-exclusions are important, but deposit, loss, and wager limits are also important for players, helping prevent them from ever needing to self-exclude. Session limits would be good to have, too, as would session timers and reality checks.
So, while Westace includes important RG resources, the casino lacks proper RG tools.
Addiction risk: play responsibly
Casino games are intended to be fun for all players, but if they do not exercise safe play, gambling can become addictive and lead to harmful consequences.
We encourage players to look out for signs that might indicate problem gambling:
- Chasing losses
- Money-borrowing to gamble
- Extended playing times
- Wagering with more money than intended
- Hiding your gambling activity from other people
If you recognize any of these signs, we recommend reaching out to any of the following organizations:
ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600)
Canada Safety Council
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)
What makes Westace safe
According to Westace’s website, these are the security measures in place:
- Advanced security measures
- Data Protection Officer
- Adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice
“Advanced security measures” sounds good, but it’s empty of content. I want Westace to tell me what kind of encryption the website uses.
I like that Westace has a Data Protection Officer to act as a point of contact for players, but I wish I could set two-factor authentication (2FA) for my account.
My rating of Westace’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
While Westace has a reputable licence, it fails to let players know that, which is not good.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Licences | 3/7 | Having no mention of the licence on the website is bad, but Westace is licensed by a reputable authority. |
| Responsible Gambling | 3.5/7 | The Responsible Gambling page at Westace has the essential resources, but next to none of the tools. |
| Security | 3/6 | Westace uses ambiguous language to describe its website security and does not provide 2FA protection for player accounts. |
| Why? |
|---|
| I really don’t understand these casinos that have a good licence like Westace, but fail to mention it on the website. Also, Westace could say more about its website security – and some actual RG tools would be nice to have: 9.5/20. |
Bonuses and offers at Westace
At this point in my Westace review, I turn to casino bonuses. I’ll evaluate the casino’s welcome bonus, regular offers, tournaments, and VIP program.
Bonus risks
Players should be aware that bonuses come with wagering requirements that must be satisfied to acquire the bonus money. Often, those requirements mean players must bet the bonus amount 30 or 40 or more times over before they can withdraw it.
Players should take note that over 80% of players lose money with casino bonuses.
Westace’s welcome bonus
Westace offers new players a trio of casino welcome bonuses that add up to one great deal.

New players can claim a welcome bonus of up to $3,000 and 150 free spins with their first three deposits of at least $30.
The bonus money comes with a 35x wagering requirement, and the winnings from free spins come with a 40x wagering requirement. Wagering requirements must be satisfied within 10 days. Here’s how Westace’s welcome bonus breaks down:
| Deposit | Match % | Amount | Free spins |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | 100% | Up to $1,500 | 50 |
| 2nd | 100% | Up to $750 | 50 |
| 3rd | 100% | Up to $750 | 50 |
I think this is a solid welcome offer.
It comes with good match percentages, with the 100% match for each deposit. The max amounts are decent, too.
Sure, I wish there were a few more free spins, but don’t we always?
The aspect I think Westace’s welcome bonus falls a bit short on with are the wagering requirements. They aren’t bad, but they aren’t good either. They’re about the industry standard, though, so one can’t hate them too vehemently.
“Solid,” I think, is the right adjective for this one.
Regular bonuses
Westace continues with offers for players after they’re through using the welcome bonus. The regular offers consist of two weekly reload bonuses:
- Weekly Reload: Players can claim 70 free spins (40x wagering) with a minimum deposit of $30 once, Sunday night through Thursday evening.
- Weekend Reload Bonus: Players can claim a 50% bonus of up to $750 with a minimum deposit of $30 (35x wagering), and add 70 free spins (40x wagering) to the offer with a minimum deposit of $75. Claimable once from Thursday night to Sunday evening.

Promotions and tournaments
During my Westace review, the casino was holding a daily free spins promotion. The promotion ran for about a month.
The casino was also holding 4 in-house tournaments, including a monthly race, slot of the week, and a live tournament. Most of the prize pools were for Westace coin, good for use at the casino’s shop (players can purchase bonus money and free spins there), although one tournament had a prize pool of $2,250.
Like the in-house tournaments, Westace also awards players with coins for its shop when they complete the casino’s many daily or one-time challenges. I did not find any network tournaments, though.
Westace’s VIP/loyalty program
Westace has a VIP Club that is fairly flush with VIP casino bonuses. Players earn points for making deposits and wagers, climbing the program’s 5 tiers as they do. Each tier consists of 5 levels, meaning there are a total of 25 levels in the program. Here’s how it looks:
| Leather | Silver | Gold | Sapphire | Ruby | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Points required | 1 – 249 | 250 – 1599 | 1,600 – 19,999 | 20,000 – 84,999 | 85,000 – 200,000+ |
| Level-up reward | 0 – $3 | $4.50 – $15 | $22.50 – $75 | $90 – $225 | $375 – $1,050 |
| Personalized offers | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Personal VIP manager | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Daily cashback percentage | ❌ | ❌ | 1% – 5% | 6% – 10% | 11% – 15% |
| Daily cashback amount | ❌ | ❌ | $75 | $225 | $375 |
| Weekly live cashback % | ❌ | ❌ | 25% | 25% | 25% |
| Weekly live cashback amount | ❌ | ❌ | $150 | $225 | $300 |
| Daily withdrawal limit | $750 | $750 | $1,500 | $2,250 | $3,000 |
| Monthly withdrawal limit | $7,500 | $7,500 | $15,000 | $22,500 | $30,000 |
My rating of bonuses available at Westace
From the welcome bonus through regular offers and VIP Club, everything Westace offers is basically solid.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome Bonus | 5/7 | This solid welcome bonus from Westace could improve with better wagering requirements and, of course, more free spins. |
| Regular Offers | 3/4 | It’s good that Westace has regular reload bonuses, but the wagering requirements aren’t very appealing. I wish there were more. The casino does a good job with in-house tournaments and challenges, although I would like to see network opportunities. |
| VIP/Loyalty Program | 3/4 | I think Westace has a great loyalty program, but the fact is that players need to make it through ten levels before they reap any real rewards. |
| “Solid” |
|---|
| I don’t think there’s a better way to describe Westace’s bonus program other than that, and its 11/15 rating says as much. |
Payment methods at Westace in Canada
Westace accepts a fair number of casino payment methods for depositing, but far fewer for withdrawing. The most frustrating aspect about the casino’s banking services is that it accepts Mastercard for deposits only and Visa for withdrawals only. These are the payment methods Westace accepts in Canada:
| Payment Method | Min Deposit | Max Withdrawal | Average Deposit Time | Average Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac | $10 | $3,000 | Instant | 3-7 business days |
| Visa | N/A | $4,300 | N/A | 3-7 business days |
| Mastercard | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Paysafecard | $15 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Skrill | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Neteller | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Cash2Code | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Bank Transfer | N/A | $10,000 | N/A | 3-7 business days |
Financial risks
This is a reminder that gambling involves real money. Gambling involves financial risk. Casinos do not operate without being favoured to win, which means most players lose over time.
Remember to set limits before playing and only gamble what you can afford to lose.
Minimum deposit and withdrawal processing times
The minimum deposit and withdrawal at Westace is $10. For cryptocurrencies, the minimums are $20, although for Bitcoin, they are $45 and $90, respectively. The maximum withdrawal depends on your VIP level.
Withdrawal requests are processed by Westace within three business days. Additional time is then required, depending on the payment method selected. Bank transfers can take up to eight business days in total.
Cryptocurrency accepted at Westace in Canada
Westace accepts a long list of popular cryptocurrencies in Canada. What crypto users should take note of is that the casino offers alternative, crypto-only bonuses, including an alternative welcome bonus and alternative weekly reload bonuses. These are the coins Westace accepts:
The dangers of using cryptocurrency
Players should note that using cryptocurrency comes with risks. Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile; their values fluctuate frequently and rapidly. It is not stable nor guaranteed, and the Government of Canada, the Bank of Canada, and other financial institutions do not back crypto. This leaves users vulnerable to losing large amounts of money.
We strongly recommend setting financial limits and investing only what you can afford to lose.
Step-by-step guide on how to withdraw from Westace
- Click on the green wallet at the top right.
- Select the “Withdraw” tab.
- Select the payment method.
- Enter the withdrawal amount.
- Click “Withdraw.”
- Complete the process in the third-party payment window.
Important information to know when withdrawing from Westace:
- All deposits must be wagered at least once before a withdrawal can be made.
- Bonus wagering must be met.
- Westace may delay the process of a withdrawal request to verify the player’s identity. In this case, players will be asked to share the following documents with Westace:
- Properly certified ID
- Proof of residence
- Proof of ownership of the payment methods used on the account
My rating of Westace’s payment methods
If it wasn’t for the casino seemingly trolling credit card users, Westace would be a pretty convenient casino to play at.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Payment Options | 4.5/7 | Westace accepts a decent number of popular payment methods, but it accepts Mastercard for deposits only and Visa for withdrawals only: what’s with that? |
| Minimum Deposit & Payment Processing Times | 2.5/4 | The minimum amounts are friendly at Westace, but the processing is just about average. |
| Cryptocurrency | 4/4 | Westace accepts a long list of popular cryptocurrencies in Canada. |
| Seriously, though |
|---|
| Westace accepts Mastercard for deposits, but not withdrawals, and does not accept Visa for deposits, but does accept it for withdrawals. That makes no sense. Faster processing would be nice, too: 11/15. |
Westace’s games selection
Games are what players come for, though, and it’s time for my Westace review to look at the online slots, live casino selection, game shows, and the casino’s providers.

Casino games warning
Players should keep in mind the fact that casino games are games of chance. While licensed games are tested for fairness by third parties, they are also weighted in favour of the casino. It’s considered “fair” that the casino is favoured to win, and it shouldn’t be surprising to hear, therefore, that most players lose over time. Players should remember that casino games are a form of entertainment, not a way to make money.
Recommended slots you can play at Westace
A fun collection of online slots fills Westace’s library. The casino has grouped games into categories for bonus buy slots, instant games, and megaways slots, which is nice, but I wish there were more categories.
Personally, I like games based in Egypt or adventure games. I like cluster slots and cascading tiles, among other mechanics. I like crash games. Westace has these games, but they’re trickier to find without the right categories.
These are a few games I found at the casino that I know I like:
Live dealer tables at Westace in Canada
Westace operates a fairly sizeable live casino with more than 300 live tables in Canada. Options for nearly 130 blackjack tables, more than 110 roulette tables, over 80 baccarat tables, and 10 poker tables were available in Westace’s live casino library, as well as a Gold Saloon.

Game shows at Westace
Visit the game shows’ selection in Westace’s live casino and find a list of more than 25 games. Agent Spinity was probably the best-known game, but there was also Enchanted Forest, Robin the Fair, and 25x Candy Wheel.

Popular game providers Westace works with
More than 90 game providers work with Wetace in Canada. While there are no Pragmatic Play or Evolution titles, players will find games from studios like Yggdrasil, InOut, Playson, Endorphina, Hacksaw Gaming, Play’n GO, Shady Lady, and Red Tiger.
My rating of Westace’s games selection
Westace has a great library that is only short of excellent.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Games Variety | 5.5/7 | A good selection of games at Westace could use more organization. I wish there were exclusive games, too. |
| Live Casino Experience | 4/4 | A large selection of live games, including a Gold Saloon, provides players at Westace with pretty much everything they can expect from a live casino. |
| Game Providers | 3/4 | With over 90 providers, Westace offers a wide selection of games. |
| Organize it |
|---|
| I wish Westace’s game selection were organized with more categories, because the selection of games is close to excellent – just give us some exclusive games! With those, and maybe a couple more providers, this 12.5/15 rating would increase. |
User experience at Westace
The user experience at the casino is a smooth one overall, but let’s focus this Westace review closer, and investigate the casino’s customer support, website navigation, and performance on mobile devices to get a proper idea of Westace’s UX.
Westace’s customer support
Westace has a fairly useful FAQ page that is organized into various topics.
I connected with a live chat support agent quickly. I was told they couldn’t answer my question about the casino’s licence over chat and to email them for sensitive information instead. I pivoted to a different question: “How many games are in your library?”
The agent tried to explain that the information was already on the website, so I needed to look there, but you and I both know that I had already spent a long portion of my day reading the website and that that information was certainly not there.
When I told them as much, the response was to email for that information because it was too sensitive to share via chat.
LOL.
This honestly isn’t a rare experience with casino live chat agents. They usually don’t know anything beyond what is already on the website.
At least the casino does have an email contact, which they did respond to with the information I requested about the licence. The games question got lost along the way, though.
| Contact | Average Answer Time | |
|---|---|---|
| [email protected] [email protected] (Data Protection Officer) | 24 hours | |
| live chat | 24/7 on the website | 1-4 minutes |
User navigation at Westace
I found it odd that there is a footer on the footer of Westace’s website. That’s why it took me longer to find the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice than usual. That isn’t bad, just odd.
Navigation around Westace isn’t difficult otherwise; in fact, it’s smooth. My only request, which I’ve made above, is for more game categories and organization of the library.
Westace mobile experience
The best mobile casinos in Canada almost always come with a mobile app. Westace does not.
That being the case, Westace has a website that is optimized for use on mobile devices. Players can also save the casino to their mobile browser’s home page.

My rating of Westace’s user experience
Overall, Westace offers a smooth user experience; I just wish its live chat agents were more informed.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Customer Support | 4.5/7 | A fine FAQ page is complemented by prompt responses, but limited support agents. Westace has an email contact, which is more reliable for information, but slower at responding. |
| User Navigation | 3.5/4 | There is very little to complain about with Westace’s website, other than the library’s organization. |
| Mobile Experience | 3/4 | Westace provides a smooth experience on mobile devices, even if the casino does not have an app. |
| Inform the live chat agents |
|---|
| The live chat agents at Westace could really use some proper training about the casino they work for. Otherwise, this 11/15 rating would be better. |
Popularity of Westace
In the final section of my Westace review, I hand the critique over to the public. I search through TrustPilot, Reddit, social media, and other chat forums to gain a sense of what the public is thinking about the casino.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Player Reputation | 6/10 | Westace has mostly positive user reviews online, but there are very few of them, so we need to take them with a grain of salt. |
| Market Visibility | 2/10 | I could not find Westace coming up much online. There were only 2 reviews on TrustPilot, and the casino does not appear to have any social media accounts. |
| Get to work |
|---|
| It’s a good thing that online reviews about Westace are positive, but there are so few of them that we cannot put too much stock in them. Westace has work to do to get its name out there and get more of those positive reviews: 6/20. |
Get aces, go west
I love how Westace’s welcome bonus gives players a 100% match on each of the three deposits. That’s great.
In fact, I love the Westace bonus program generally. There are a few things I’d approve, but the structure of the program is on point, with regular reload bonuses and a VIP program that’s jammed with benefits (once you’ve reached the third tier).
Players should have no issues banking with Westace, either, even if the casino pseudo-trolls credit card users. The casino accepts a good range of payments, including a long list of cryptocurrencies. Crypto users are reminded that there are crypto-specific bonuses available to them as well.
The Westace game library has a wide selection of slots and live tables. Players should find every type of game they might be looking for, even if the library isn’t the most thoroughly organized.
I don’t like how there’s no information about the casino’s licence on the website. That needs to change, in my opinion. I feel like that speaks to Westace’s transparency, or lack thereof.
No one’s perfect, and my Westace review concludes with a 61/100 final rating.
