This Trybet review was written in accordance with our method for reviewing casinos, as outlined on our ‘How We Review Casinos‘ page. This review is divided into six sections:
- Trybet’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
- Bonuses and offers from Trybet
- Payment methods accepted by Trybet
- Trybet’s game selection
- The user experience at Trybet
- Popularity of Trybet
Trybet’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
The first concern of every one of our casino reviews is player safety: if we’re going to consider online casinos in Canada for play, the first thing the casino will need to be is safe. My Trybet review begins by assessing the casino’s licence, responsible gambling page, and website security.
| Legal gambling age |
|---|
| The legal gambling age in most Canadian provinces and territories is 19 years old (in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, though, it is 18), meaning online casino operators must verify every player’s age to ensure minors do not gamble. Each province and territory is regulated provincially. For example, gambling in Ontario is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Visit our Licensing page for more information. |
Trybet’s licences
Trybet is operated by Reactivation Limited, a company with a full gambling licence from a respected regulator:
Responsible gambling in Trybet
It took me some time to find Trybet’s responsible gambling page (via a link buried in the casino’s Terms and Conditions). There, Trybet has a detailed page, featuring quality information and resources:
- General responsible gambling information and advice
- Self-assessment test
- Links to help organizations
- Links to parental control tools
In addition, registered players have access to several useful tools directly from their player profile, tools that the responsible gambling page explains well:
- Deposit limits (daily, weekly, and monthly)
- Wager limits (daily, weekly, and monthly)
- Self-exclusion periods (1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year)
Together, Trybet misses very little (What about the loss limits the RG page mentions? How about adding session limits and reality checks?), but the page is hard to find. I’m unsure why Trybet doesn’t include it on the website’s footer.
| Addiction risk: play responsibly |
|---|
| While casino games are meant to be fun, gambling can become addictive and lead to harmful consequences if players do not play responsibly. With this in mind, we encourage players to look out for signs that might indicate problem gambling: – Chasing losses – Playing for longer than intended – Gambling with more money than intended – Disguising gambling activity from other people – Borrowing money to gamble If you recognize any of these signs, consider contacting any of the following help organizations: – ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600) – Gamblers Anonymous Canada – Gambling Therapy |
What makes Trybet safe
After a thorough investigation of Trybet’s website, these are the security measures the casino has put in place:
- Secure system configuration
- Access control
- TLS data encryption
- PCI DSS accreditation
- Data Protection Officer
- Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
Trybet has a strong security system in place, but I’d like to see 2-factor authentication added as an option.
My rating of Trybet’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
Trybet provides some fantastic responsible gambling tools, but the casino isn’t very transparent.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Licences | 5.5/7 | A licence from the Isle of Man is not very common, but it is considered a reputable licence. While Trybet provides a link to the regulator’s website, players will need to navigate to the GSC licence holders page to verify Trybet’s licence. |
| Responsible Gambling | 5.5/7 | Trybet’s responsible gambling page, resources, and tools miss very little. It’s just hard to find a lot of it. |
| Security | 5/6 | Trybet is a secure casino, but I’d still like 2-FA controls. |
| No reason to hide |
|---|
| Trybet earns a strong 16/20 rating here for a reputable licence, excellent responsible gambling tools, and a secure system. I just wish a few things were easier to find. |
Bonuses and offers at Trybet
Let’s turn our attention to casino bonuses: here, my Trybet review considers the casino’s welcome bonus, regular offers, tournaments, and loyalty program.
| Bonus risks |
|---|
| Players should be aware that bonuses come with wagering requirements that must be met to gain the bonus money. Often, they require players to bet the bonus amount 30 or 40 or more times over. Over 80% of players lose money with casino bonuses. |
Trybet’s welcome bonus
When it comes to bonuses, casino welcome bonuses are always the first item on players’ minds.

At Trybet, new players can claim a welcome bonus of up to $2,000 and 250 free spins over their first four deposits!
Welcome Bonus Terms: up to $2,000 + 250 free spins with a player’s first four deposits | Free spins awarded on Aviatrix | Wagering requirements for the bonus money: 35x | Wagering requirements for winnings from the free spins: 30x | Minimum deposit: $20
The bonus money comes with 35x wagering requirements, and winnings from free spins come with 30x wagering requirements.
Here’s how Trybet’s welcome bonus breaks down:
| Deposit | Match % | Amount | Free Spins |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | 100% | Up to $500 | 100 |
| Second | 100% | Up to $500 | 50 |
| Third | 100% | Up to $500 | 50 |
| Fourth | 100% | Up to $500 | 50 |
There’s a lot to like with a bonus like this one.
For starters, the consistent match percentage across all four deposits remaining at the 100% mark is great to see.
Second, and perhaps most importantly, the wagering requirements are very reasonable, relative to most welcome bonuses available in Canada.
The offer lasts for your first four deposits, which is a good thing, and the total amount is decent, too.
It’s the type of welcome bonus I can’t say anything negative about without sounding at least slightly absurd.
VIP welcome bonus
Trybet offers players an alternative first deposit welcome bonus. Instead of the 100% match up to $500, players can claim a 150% match up to $6,000 with a minimum deposit of $500. The bonus money comes with a 35x wagering requirement.
While players who choose the VIP welcome bonus do not receive the free spins those who choose the regular bonus do, they do receive 10% weekly cashback on net losses, with a minimum cashback amount of $50 and a maximum of $2,000 (1x wagering).
Regular bonuses
I did not find any other bonuses available from Trybet, and when I asked their customer support agent about it, they went silent and never responded.
Promotions and tournaments
Like the bonuses, I could not find any tournaments available for play at Trybet.
Trybet’s VIP/loyalty program
Trybet’s customer support informed me that the casino was still implementing its loyalty program. In the meantime, they suggested I consider the VIP welcome bonus I covered above.
My rating of bonuses available at Trybet
I can only rate what a casino offers, and Trybet seems to still be in a state of building its bonus program.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome Bonus | 6.5/7 | An all-round solid welcome bonus with essentially good everything. “Good” isn’t “great,” though, so that’s why this isn’t a perfect score. |
| Regular Offers | 0/4 | There were no regular bonuses available during my Trybet review. |
| VIP/Loyalty Program | 0/4 | Check back at a later date for when Trybet implements its loyalty program. |
| Not ready |
|---|
| 6.5/15 is not a good score, but Trybet appears incomplete, lacking regular bonuses, tournaments, and a loyalty program. |
Payment methods at Trybet in Canada
Trybet accepts the most popular casino payment methods in Canada, but it could accept more e-wallets and vouchers. What’s great is that the casino accepts most methods for both depositing and withdrawing:
| Payment Method | Min Deposit | Max Withdrawal | Average Deposit Time | Average Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac | $20 | $5,000 | Instant | 4-6 business days |
| Visa | $20 | $5,000 | Instant | 4-6 business days |
| Mastercard | $20 | $5,000 | Instant | 4-6 business days |
| Maestro | $20 | $5,000 | Instant | 4-6 business days |
| Paysafecard | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Payz | $20 | $5,000 | Instant | 3-4 business days |
| eCashout | N/A | $5,000 | N/A | 3-4 business days |
| Financial risks |
|---|
| This is a reminder that gambling involves real money and, therefore, financial risk. Casinos do not open their doors without being favoured to win, which means most players lose over time. This is a reminder to set limits before playing and only gamble what you can afford to lose. |
Minimum deposit and withdrawal processing times
The minimum deposit at Trybet is the same as the casino’s minimum withdrawal amounts: $20 for fiat methods and $33 for cryptocurrencies. Not bad, although I’ve seen lower.
The maximum withdrawal amount is $5,000 for fiat methods and $8,044 for cryptocurrencies. These are pretty high.
Withdrawals tend to process within 3 to 6 business days, although cryptocurrency transactions can be processed on the same day.
Cryptocurrency accepted at Trybet in Canada
Trybet accepts an extensive list of some of Canada’s most popular cryptocurrencies:
- Bitcoin Cash
- Ethereum
- Cardano
- Binance
- Toncoin
| The dangers of using cryptocurrency |
|---|
| Players should note that using cryptocurrency comes with risks. Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, with their values oftentimes fluctuating rapidly. The Government of Canada, the Bank of Canada, or other financial institutions do not back crypto; it is not stable nor guaranteed, which leaves users vulnerable to losing large amounts of money. We strongly recommend setting financial limits and investing only what you can afford to lose. |
Step-by-step guide on how to withdraw from Trybet:
- Click your profile’s dropdown menu at the top right.
- Select “Withdrawal methods.”
- Choose your payment method.
- Enter the withdrawal amount.
- Complete the form by entering any requested payment information.
- Click “Withdraw.”
Other important information to know when withdrawing from Trybet:
- Players must satisfy bonus wagering requirements before withdrawing.
- All deposits must be wagered 1x before a withdrawal request will be approved.
- To withdraw, players will be required to upload copies of the following documents to verify their identity:
- Government-issues ID (passport, driver’s licence, etc.)
- Proof of address no older than 3 months (a utility bill or bank statement)
- Copies of registered credit card (if applicable), showing only the first 6 and last 4 digits, blocking all other numbers, including the CVC/CVV on the reverse side of the card
- In addition to the above, WinShark may request a selfie with your passport/driver’s licence in hand
My rating of Trybet’s payment methods
Trybet has done a good job of offering players a wide range of payment options for depositing and withdrawing.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Payment Options | 5/7 | Trybet accepts popular forms of payment, but not the most extensive list of e-wallets or vouchers. |
| Minimum Deposit & Payment Processing Times | 2.5/4 | Trybet’s minimums are decent, and its maximums are good. The processing times could be faster, but they aren’t bad. |
| Cryptocurrency | 4/4 | Trybet accepts the majority of Canada’s most popular cryptocurrencies. |
| Making it easy |
|---|
| The number of payment options Trybet provides its players earns the casino an 11.5/15. |
Trybet’s games selection
At this stage of the Trybet review, I look at the casino’s game library, inspecting its online slots, live casino games, game shows, and game providers.

| Casino games warning |
|---|
| Players need to keep sight of the fact that casino games are a game of chance. While licensed games are tested by third parties for fairness, they are also weighted in favour of the casino. Most players, therefore, lose over time. It’s why we like to remind players that casino games are a form of entertainment, not a way to make money. |
Recommended slots you can play at Trybet
I was quite happy with Trybet’s library of online slots. While I wish the selection was better organized (Trybet has only four of the most generic game categories), the casino has a collection that includes massive hits and a load of exciting options. These are three of my favourites:
Quality live dealer tables at Trybet in Canada
I counted just over 60 live casino games available in Trybet’s library in Canada. Unfortunately, Trybet has not organized its library, leaving players to either scroll through the options or use the searchbar to find their desired game. Typing “roulette,” “sic bo,” “blackjack,” “dragon tiger,” “baccarat,” or “poker” will uncover the corresponding options for live tables.

Game shows you can play at Trybet
Given Trybet’s live casino library is not organized, there is, of course, no “game shows” category at the casino. Scrolling through the live casino selection, I found Crazy Time, Funky Time, and Deal or No Deal, among others. The library isn’t user-friendly, but it does have some good game shows.

Popular game providers Trybet works with
With fewer than 25 game providers working with Trybet in Canada, I want to see some big names on the list. That’s what Trybet delivers, with studios like Pragmatic Play, Tom Horn, Evolution, PG Soft, Red Tiger, NetEnt, Big Time Gaming, Platipus, 3 Oaks Gaming, and Nolimit City.
My rating of Trybet’s games selection
While not the biggest nor the most organized, Trybet’s game selection is still exciting.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Games Variety | 5.5/7 | It isn’t the largest selection, but Trybet has packed it with some big titles and popular slots. |
| Live Casino Experience | 3/4 | Trybet’s live casino is unorganized and not the largest, but the tables are of reliable quality. |
| Game Providers | 3/4 | Fewer than 25 providers work with Trybet, but the roster includes industry leaders and innovators. |
| An exciting selection |
|---|
| Trybet could have a larger and more organized selection of games, but it still earns an 11.5/15 rating for an exciting selection of popular hits. |
User experience at Trybet
At this point in my Trybet review, I turn to the user’s experience of the casino by assessing its customer support, website navigation, and mobile capabilities.
Trybet’s customer support
The customer service page at Trybet provides players with an email address and suggests clicking the live chat for support. There is no FAQ page.
I reached out to support, who were at first relatively quick to respond, but when I tried follow-up questions or other questions, the agent didn’t respond. After 20-25 minutes, my fourth unanswered question prompted a chatbot response. The agent had run off.
Let’s just say I was unimpressed, and that that experience will likely inform this section of the review greatly.
| Contact: | Average Answer Time | |
|---|---|---|
| [email protected] | Within 24 hours | |
| live chat | 24/7 on the website | 2-5 mins |
User navigation at Trybet
Trybet’s navigation is incredibly straightforward, but part of that is the limited functionality of the website. The difficulty in finding the responsible gambling page is an example of this, as is the lack of a loyalty program or bonuses beyond the welcome bonus. Navigation is easy if there’s little to navigate, in other words.
I mentioned above how little the game library is organized, and I would complain that the game cards are oversized in the live casino. It’s easy to navigate, but not simply because the website is well-designed.
Trybet mobile experience
While Trybet doesn’t match up to the best mobile casinos in Canada in terms of offering a mobile app, it does provide a seamless transition to the mobile version of its website, which is fully optimized.
Players on the go will have zero issue playing at Trybet from their phone or tablet.
My rating of Trybet user experience
Trybet needs to improve its customer service, but it provides a fine user experience otherwise.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Customer Support | 4/7 | The customer service page is sparse, lacking any information beyond an email address. There is no FAQ page. The live chat agent was quick at first, but then ran off, leaving me waiting. |
| User Navigation | 2.5/4 | Trybet is easy to navigate, but not necessarily because it is a well-designed website. The game library lacks organization. |
| Mobile Experience | 3.5/4 | A seamless transition to mobile devices could only be better if Trybet offered a mobile app. |
| Held back by support |
|---|
| Despite a solid mobile experience and fine website navigation, Trybet misses a bit with its customer support, though, earning a 10/15 grade. |
Popularity of Trybet
The final step of my Trybet review has me take stock of the public’s opinion of the casino. For this, I checked online sources like Trustpilot and Reddit, as well as Trybet’s social media profiles, to gather an impression of what the public is thinking.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Player Reputation | 8.5/10 | Trybet has a generally positive reputation online, with most players praising the withdrawal speed. |
| Market Visibility | 3/10 | I did not find Trybet on any social media website, nor was it mentioned on Reddit. The casino had limited reviews on Trustpilot. |
| Known, but not always in a good way |
|---|
| While Trybet seems to have a good reputation, it doesn’t seem to have gotten itself in front of too many eyeballs, so a 11.5/20 rating makes sense. |
Try a bet for balance
It took way too long for me to find the responsible gambling page in Trybet, and that was a bad start for the casino’s review. Luckily, the casino did a great job with that responsible gambling page, providing a solid save for the casino.
My Trybet review continued in this fashion, always finding good when finding bad and vice versa.
The bonus program is a great example of this. Trybet’s welcome bonus is excellent, offering a solid deal with fair terms, but then that’s really the only bonus available from the casino. I was told it is implementing a loyalty program, but it does not currently have one.
Another great example, this time from the opposite side, is the game library. While the library itself isn’t the largest I’ve ever seen (I might even say that the live casino is small, although that might be pushing things), it is jammed with quality titles and big hits. A small, but mighty selection.
Added together, my Trybet review concludes with a 67/100 final rating.
