Spinly Review
We review online casinos in Canada by following a strict method that ensures we evaluate every significant aspect of a casino. You can read about that method on our How We Review Casinos page. That method, of course, guided my Spinly review below, which is broken down into the following sections:
- Spinly’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
- Bonuses and offers from Spinly
- Payment methods accepted by Spinly
- Spinly’s game selection
- The user experience at Spinly
- Popularity of Spinly
Spinly’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
We only review casinos that can be trusted by players in Canada, so that is the first thing we inspect for all of our casino reviews. Here, my Spinly review assesses the casino’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security.
| Legal gambling age |
|---|
| The legal gambling age in most Canadian provinces and territories is 19 years old (in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, though, it is 18), meaning online casino operators must verify every player’s age to ensure minors do not gamble. Each province and territory is regulated provincially. For example, gambling in Ontario is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Visit our Licensing page for more information. |
Spinly’s licences
I found Spinly’s licence listed at the bottom of the left menubar, which is a unique and handy place for it. The casino’s licence comes from a reliable regulator:
- Anjouan Gaming – Licence No. ALSI-092404013-F12
Responsible gambling in Spinly
I’m not sure how to rate Spinly’s responsible gambling page. The casino talks about its “RiG” system (responsible igaming), but doesn’t provide any useful information: there is no advice, there are no links to help organizations, there is no self-assessment test, etc. It’s beyond disappointing to find an essentially useless page.
Spinly also has an “aura” page, though, which is related to the casino’s RiG system, and this page is more than impressive. With the system, players can set a multitude of daily limits (on their spending amount, spins, and playing time), as well as set restrictions to night play (between 12 am and 5 am) and create weekly rest days (where the player cannot play at all, say, on Mondays). Once players have turned their Aura system on, they are given points for staying within their limits. I don’t believe players are awarded in any way, but the points provide players with a score that grades their playing behaviour and warns them when they are reaching the thresholds they set. Spinly really did something great here, although I can see this being greatly improved (by providing awards, e.g.). In many ways, I hope this is an example of the future of responsible gambling.
I’m torn here because there is so much good going on with Spinly’s systems, but there is also so much missing from what the casino actually provides players.
| Addiction risk: play responsibly |
|---|
| While casino games are meant to be fun, gambling can become addictive and lead to harmful consequences if players do not play responsibly. With this in mind, we encourage players to look out for signs that might indicate problem gambling: – Chasing losses – Playing for longer than intended – Gambling with more money than intended – Disguising gambling activity from other people – Borrowing money to gamble If you recognize any of these signs, consider contacting any of the following help organizations: – ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600) – Gamblers Anonymous Canada – Gambling Therapy |
What makes Spinly safe
Spinly meets the requirements of its Anjouan Gaming licence by employing security measures:
- State-of-the-art encryption
- Continuous review of information collection, storage, and processing practices
- Strict adherence to regulatory standards
- Organized Terms with separate pages for the casino’s Terms of Services, Safety & Privacy, and Underage iGaming and Gambling policies
Spinly employs reliable measures that meet the standards set by Anjouan Gaming and has an excellently organized document area with easy-to-read pages. I found it a bit odd, after all that quality organization, that the anti-money laundering was not also separated or organized, but found in the middle of the general Terms of Service. I would also prefer to see more specific information about the security measures in place to protect data and finances.
My rating of Spinly’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
The responsible gambling measures are missing too much, but Spinly is a secure and trustworthy casino.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Licenses | 7/7 | Spinly’s licence is conveniently found on the left menu bar, and it comes from a reliable gaming authority in Anjouan Gaming. |
| Responsible Gambling | 4.5/7 | If all I wanted to see were limits, then Spinly’s Aura system would score off the charts (it’s close to revolutionary in my mind), but I’m looking for a lot more information and resources, and Spinly doesn’t have them. |
| Security | 5/6 | Secure and trustworthy, but I would like to see more security information than what I found. I also think the AML policy should be on its own page. |
| Solid nonetheless |
|---|
| A nearly revolutionary responsible gambling page in terms of tools is also Spinly’s biggest shortcoming in this section. The casino earns a solid 16.5/20 nonetheless. |
Bonuses and offers at Spinly
Now, I turn the attention of my Spinly review to its available casino bonuses. I’ll look at the casino’s welcome bonus, reload bonuses, and the loyalty program available to players in Canada.
| Bonus risks |
|---|
| Players should be aware that bonuses come with wagering requirements that must be met to gain the bonus money. Often, they require players to bet the bonus amount 30 or 40 or more times over. Over 80% of players lose money with casino bonuses. |
Spinly’s welcome bonus

Taking advantage of casino welcome bonuses is often the impetus for so many players to join a casino. Will that be the case for you and Spinly?
New Spinly players can claim a 100% bonus of up to 3,500 μBTC and 50 free spins on Coins of Ra Hold and Win with their first deposit of at least 500 μBTC.
The bonus and free spins wagering requirements are 45x and must be met within 30 days. The 45x wagering requirement is on the high side of the industry standard, although the 30-day window is a fair amount of time. I’ve seen much bigger bonus amounts, both in terms of the bonus money (3,500 μBTC is approximately worth $600 currently) and the free spins, though, so this isn’t the most attractive welcome bonus I’ve ever seen.
Spinly’s reload bonuses
Spinly offers players in Canada a pair of reload bonuses after their initial welcome bonus:
- 1st Reload Bonus: For a minimum deposit of 500 μBTC, players can claim a 50% bonus of up to 3,500 μBTC and 50 free spins on Ultimate Golden Dragon Inferno Hold & Win with their first reload. The bonus money comes with 45x wagering requirements that must be satisfied within 30 days.
- 2nd Reload Bonus: For a minimum deposit of 500 μBTC, players can claim a 75% bonus of up to 3,500 μBTC and 50 free spins on Triple Lucky 8s with their second reload. The bonus money, again, comes with 45x wagering requirements that must be satisfied within 30 days.
These are fine bonuses – nothing to write home about, mind you – but I would like to see more than just two one-time reload bonuses available after the welcome. Most casinos offer things like this every week.
Players looking for tournaments will find a Spinly-run tournament called “HyperSpinners.” Bet a minimum of 2 μBTC when playing games with a HyperSpinners flag, and your 100 best spins will count towards the tournament’s leaderboard. Players must be VIP Rank 2 to participate, though, and it was the only tournament I found during my Spinly review.
Spinly’s VIP/loyalty program

While the casino is light on regular bonuses, it has created a loyalty program that is loaded with VIP casino bonuses to make up for things. The more players play at the casino, the more they climb the 20 ranks to Spinly’s VIP program. Here’s how it works:
| Rank | Wager req’d | Daily withdrawal | Rank bonus | Cashback | BTC Surge Cashback* | Instant Withdrawal | VIP Support |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 BTC | 5,000 μBTC | 0 μBTC | 1% | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ |

My rating of bonuses available at Spinly
Spinly’s welcome bonus and regular bonuses are slightly disappointing, but the casino’s loyalty program has a lot to offer.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome Bonus | 3.5/7 | On its own, this welcome bonus would not get me to join Spinly: the bonus money and free spins amount aren’t high enough, and the terms aren’t very friendly either. |
| Regular Offers | 0.5/4 | Since the two reload bonuses aren’t even properly regular, it’s hard to like what Spinly offers regularly. Besides the one in-house run tournament available to VIP rank 2 players, I couldn’t find any tournaments. |
| VIP/Loyalty Program | 3.5/4 | There’s a lot to like about Spinly’s VIP program, including the cashback and level-up bonuses, and even more if you’re a Bitcoin user. Still, some benefits could be a bit easier to take advantage of. |
| Not enough |
|---|
| Spinly offers a great loyalty program, but it pretty much misses everywhere else in its bonus program, earning a barely passing grade of 7.5/15 in the bonus section. |
Payment methods at Spinly in Canada
Spinly is a crypto-casino first, so it does not accept any fiat payment methods. That said, the casino, via its partner, Changelly, does accept credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) to purchase crypto directly to your Spinly account. It isn’t ideal, but players are given 10% more when they purchase crypto through Spinly’s partner, which isn’t bad at all.
| Financial risks |
|---|
| This is a reminder that gambling involves real money and, therefore, financial risk. Casinos do not open their doors without being favoured to win, which means most players lose over time. This is a reminder to set limits before playing and only gamble what you can afford to lose. |
Minimum deposit and withdrawal processing times
The minimum crypto purchase at Changelly, Spinly’s partner, is $20 (USD), as is the minimum withdrawal. Both occur instantly, although for withdrawals, only after the player has verified their identity with the casino and reached the 5th rank of the loyalty program (expect a 2-day maximum wait time before reaching that rank). Withdrawals from Spinly come with a fee.
Cryptocurrency accepted at Spinly in Canada
Like I said, Spinly is a crypto-casino first, and the casino’s long list of accepted cryptocurrencies in Canada proves it:
- Bitcoin Cash
- Solana
- Stellar
- Zcash
- Ton
| The dangers of using cryptocurrency |
|---|
| Players should note that using cryptocurrency comes with risks. Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, with their values oftentimes fluctuating rapidly. The Government of Canada, the Bank of Canada, or other financial institutions do not back crypto; it is not stable nor guaranteed, which leaves users vulnerable to losing large amounts of money. We strongly recommend setting financial limits and investing only what you can afford to lose. |
Step-by-step guide on how to withdraw from Spinly
Once players have verified with Spinly, withdrawing is a quick process:
- Click on your account near the top of the screen.
- Select “Cashout” on the left sidebar.
- Choose the withdrawal method.
- Choose the speed at which to withdraw (faster speeds have higher fees).
- Enter your wallet’s address.
- Enter the amount to be withdrawn.
- Click “Cashout.”
Other important information to know when withdrawing
Players need to be cognizant of the following when withdrawing from Spinly:
- Withdrawals come with a fee that depends on the currency and speed chosen for the transaction. This is noted during the cash-out procedure.
- Spinly will request identity verification after a player’s first withdrawal request. Players will have 48 hours to email the casino the following documents:
- ID verification
- Proof of address
- A selfie with the ID
- All wagering requirements must be met to withdraw.
- All deposited funds must be wagered at least once before being withdrawn.
My rating of Spinly’s payment methods
Crypto-first, but Spinly didn’t completely forget fiat users.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Payment Options | 3.5/7 | I’m giving Spinly 50% here because the crypto casino does try to accommodate fiat users, even encouraging them to play with crypto by giving them a small 10% bonus. |
| Minimum Deposit & Payment Processing Times | 2/4 | The minimums are decently low, but we have seen lower. Processing times are superb. The fact that there is a fee to withdraw, though, hurts this score greatly. |
| Cryptocurrency | 4/4 | Spinly aims to serve crypto-users in Canada, and it certainly succeeds. |
| A crypto dream |
|---|
| Spinly is an online casino designed for crypto users, and the casino delivers on that intent. The withdrawal fee drops the casino’s score here to 9.5/15 more than the lack of accepted fiat payment methods. |
Spinly’s games selection
Finally! I love it when the review gets to the games section. Here, my Spinly review focuses on the more than 4,000 casino games the casino offers players in Canada!

| Casino games warning |
|---|
| Players need to keep sight of the fact that casino games are a game of chance. While licensed games are tested by third parties for fairness, they are also weighted in favour of the casino. Most players, therefore, lose over time. It’s why we like to remind players that casino games are a form of entertainment, not a way to make money. |
Recommended slots you can play at Spinly
The selection of online slots at Spinly is impressive. Huge hits like Gates of Olympus and Big Bass Bonanza are available alongside lesser-known titles, like Cleo’s Riches FlexiWays, Fortune Gems, and Boom! Boom! Gold!
There are unfortunately no game categories for crash games, high RTP slots, or other game types, so you need to know what you want to play to find it easily, but the casino clearly has numerous options for almost every game type – and from some of the industry’s top studios.
Live dealer tables at Spinly in Canada
Spinly has an unfortunately limited live casino with fewer than 25 games. The casino has managed to still fill the selection with reliable tables from Amusenet and Betgames, including roulette, baccarat, and poker. There are no live blackjack tables at Spinly, though, which is a let-down. I found only two game shows in the library, as well.

Popular game providers Spinly works with
45 game providers are working with Spinly to produce its library of games in Canada. Studios include some of the industry’s best, such as NoLimit City, BetSoft, 3 Oaks Gaming, Red Tiger, Thunderkick, and Habanero.
My rating of Spinly’s games selection
Spinly’s game selection could improve by adding more live casino games, especially.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Games Variety | 6/7 | It’s a large library with decent search filters, though Spinly doesn’t have enough categories to search easily. The casino has one exclusive game, and it would be nice to see more added. |
| Live Casino Experience | 1/4 | The live casino games selection at Spinly is limited, even if there are options for roulette, baccarat, and poker. There are no live blackjack tables, and very few game shows |
| Game Providers | 3/4 | An eclectic mix of 45 game providers work on Spinly’s library, including some of my favourite studios. I’ve seen lists like this that are twice as large, though. |
| Made for slot lovers |
|---|
| If you love online slots, then Spinly may be the casino for you. A limited live casino drops Spinly rating to a 10/15 in the games section of the review. |
User experience at Spinly
Spinly’s 8-bit video game aesthetic immediately struck me. What a great skin and start to my experience at the casino. Considering the casino’s customer support, user navigation, and functionality on mobile devices, this is how the overall user experience weighed in for my Spinly review.
Spinly’s customer support
I received prompt responses that were quite helpful the first time I reached out to Spinly’s live chat support, but the second time, I received a message stating that the live chat support was not available and to leave a message. So much for 24/7 support, eh?
There were a few frustrating things with Spinly’s support, other than that. The casino claims to have phone lines, but I could not find such numbers listed anywhere on the website. Spinly provides links to its Discord and Telegram accounts, but does not provide the email address when mentioning the email contact. While only minor offences, they are still inconvenient to the user and blemishes on the experience.
In fairness to the team at Spinly, the message I left when their live chat was unavailable was answered, via email, about an hour later, which is quick for an email response.
- email: [email protected]
- A contact form that players can leave messages for the casino in
- English and French are supported
- 1-2 minute response times from the live chat agent (when they were available)
- No FAQ page
User navigation at Spinly
I absolutely love the look of Spinly. The way the casino is arranged and organized is fairly well accomplished, too, although I didn’t always have the easiest experience. Navigating the casino is generally intuitive, although it was shocking to me that there is no live casino link in the main menu on the left sidebar.

I like that the usual footer information is, instead, included on Spinly’s sidebar. That information is both easier to access and more out of the way on the sidebar. I also like the search filters: there, players can filter for several game types, including high stakes games, hold and wins, and jackpots. I’d like to see a few more categories added to those filters, though.
Spinly’s mobile experience
Like the best mobile casinos in Canada, Spinly offers players a smooth transition to mobile.
The casino’s website is fully optimized for phones and tablets, and, in many ways, looks better on mobile devices.
Spinly does not have a mobile app.
My rating of Spinly’s user experience
Spinly has a look worth emulating and a user experience that is mostly good, but not without room for improvement.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Customer Support | 4.5/7 | It’s good, and then it isn’t. That’s how I feel about Spinly’s support. The casino needs an FAQ page. |
| User Navigation | 3/4 | I love the look of Spinly, but that only takes me so far. There are good search filters, but more could be added, and having no live casino link in the main sidebar seems like a mistake to me. |
| Mobile Experience | 3.5/4 | Spinly looks even better on a mobile device. It works smoothly and is redesigned to accommodate touchscreens. The casino does not have a mobile app, though. |
| Good looks can only go so far |
|---|
| The look of Spinly is worth admiring, but the inconsistent customer support is frustrating: 11/15. |
Popularity of Spinly
The final section of my Spinly review mines Trustpilot, Reddit, social media, and the internet at large to uncover a sense of the public’s opinion of the casino.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Player Reputation | 3.5/10 | There were very few reviews online, and those that I found were not favourable. Social media comments were generally positive, though. |
| Market Visibility | 7.5/10 | Spinly has over 700 followers on Instagram and more than 2,000 subscribers on its Telegram channel. The casino posts to both platforms on an almost daily basis, although engagement is low. Spinly also has more than 300 followers on Twitter, but has never posted there. While its social media presence is pretty good, there were very few online reviews I could find. |
| Decent visibility, but work on its reputation is needed |
|---|
| It could use more positive user reviews online, but Spinly has done a decent job of being a visible casino in Canada: 11/20. |
The return to an 8-bit world
This has to be one of my favourite-looking casinos. I just adore the 8-bit video game vibe and the energy the blue background adds. It’s awesome. I want to be here.
That’s not all I’m reviewing, though, or Spinly would maybe get the first perfect grade I’ve ever given (who are we kidding?! I’ll find a reason to make sure it’s a 99 or 98! That blue ain’t blue enough, people!). And, thankfully, Spinly has some other commendable features.
The casino’s Aura system (part of its responsible gambling efforts) is a taste of the future and something special. It is something that should be refined and duplicated. I just wish the rest of the responsible gambling resources were as useful.
Spinly’s VIP program is something I thought the casino did pretty well. In many ways, it makes up for the lack of regular bonuses available from the casino. The benefits of cashback cannot be understated, and Spinly gives its players two ways to earn cashback from its VIP program, which is pretty great. I didn’t like the lack of regular bonuses and promotions, but I do like what the VIP program offers.
I also like the options players have for online slots. Spinly has a large library of quality games of all types, although they could be organized a little more. The live casino is disappointingly limited, which hurts the casino’s score, but the options it provides for slots are excellent.
Crypto users will have less difficulty joining Spinly (and all the reasons to do so) than fiat users, but I like how the casino tries to encourage fiat users to play with crypto nonetheless.
So, while I love the look and many other things, Spinly always seemed to leave me wanting more at every turn, which leads me to conclude my Spinly review with a 65.5/100 final grade.
Other casinos to play at in Canada if you like Spinly
