“Bulletz is an overall solid online casino for players in Canada. It’s secure and trustworthy. It offers a great welcome bonus and follows that up with great regular bonuses. The casino has a large library of quality games. It has reliable customer support and a reliable user experience. Bulletz aims at a lot of great targets and hits them on the mark, but it unfortunately misses in a few key places, as well.”

Bulletz Review

This Bulletz review was written following our strict guide for how we rate casinos. The guide ensures I inspect every aspect of the casino, reviewing each according to the pillars that define our review process:

  1. Bulletz’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
  2. Bonuses and offers from Bulletz
  3. Payment methods accepted by Bulletz
  4. Bulletz’s game selection
  5. The user experience at Bulletz
  6. Popularity of Bulletz

Bulletz’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security

The first thing we always ensure our readers is that our casino reviews only focus on licensed operators that are safe for players in Canada, and that is how I’m beginning this Bulletz review. Here, we’ll assess the casino’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security.

Legal gambling age
The legal gambling age in most Canadian provinces and territories is 19 years old (in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, though, it is 18), meaning online casino operators must verify every player’s age to ensure minors do not gamble. Each province and territory is regulated provincially. For example, gambling in Ontario is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Visit our Licensing page for more information.

Bulletz’s licences

Without effort, I found Bulletz’ licence information and link to its certificate on the website’s footer. Bulletz has an application for a licence in progress from a globally-recognized authority:

Responsible gambling in Bulletz

Bulletz has a fine responsible gambling page that does a few things well. The casino offers its support, provides a self-assessment test, connects players to help organizations, offers a list of parental control filters, and arranges self-exclusions. Bulletz also suggests players set deposit and session limits, which is sound advice.

It’s this advice that reveals the page’s first shortcoming, though: why does Bulletz not provide players with the ability to set deposit and session limits (and loss and wager limits, while they’re at it)? I want to see those tools.

(I later found, buried deep within the casino’s Terms and conditions, that deposit limits can be set by contacting support. I’m not sure why that isn’t mentioned on the responsible gambling page, though.)

I found it particularly off-putting that Bulletz’s responsible gambling page reads as if it were written by someone who speaks English as a second (or third or fourth) language. How does a paragraph begin with, “Since our first day we think about this problematic and try out best to help.”?

Or how about this well-written piece of insight not more than two sentences below: “Our Support will help you via email at all time without any additional costs for you.” Really, without any costs for me?! How generous.

Bulletz provides some good responsible gambling resources, but it should be offering more (in particular, tools), and a page that reads like no one cared enough to edit it doesn’t sit well with me.

Addiction risk: play responsibly
While casino games are meant to be fun, gambling can become addictive and lead to harmful consequences if players do not play responsibly.

With this in mind, we encourage players to look out for signs that might indicate problem gambling:

– Chasing losses
– Playing for longer than intended
– Gambling with more money than intended
– Disguising gambling activity from other people
– Borrowing money to gamble

If you recognize any of these signs, consider contacting any of the following help organizations:

What makes Bulletz safe

I combed the casino for my Bulletz review, and these are the security measures I found in place:

  • Player data is held on secure servers in a data warehouse
  • Casino employees, agents, and contractors are required to maintain confidentiality
  • Bulletz complies with data protection requirements
  • Detailed Terms and conditions, Bonus terms, and Privacy policy

Bulletz appears completely safe, but the security information isn’t detailed enough to verify that properly. Also, I’d like to see, rather than in the Terms, a separate anti-money laundering policy.

My rating of Bulletz’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security: 16/20

Bulletz has a reliable licence and appears completely secure, but it has work to accomplish on its responsible gambling page.

What I checkedScoreWhy this score?
Licenses7/7Bulletz provides a link to the certificate for its licence from the Curaçao Gaming Control Board on the website’s footer. The CGCB is a reliable regulator that is globally trusted.
Responsible Gambling4/7A poorly written page provides some good advice and useful links, but lacks the proper tools to allow players to follow its own advice.
Security5/6It appears as secure as any licensed casino, but I want to see more detailed information.
Reliable and secure
Bulletz has a secure platform, even if I wish more effort were given to the casino’s responsible gambling page. I gave Bulletz 16/20 for this section.

Bonuses and offers at Bulletz

Here, I get to turn the focus of my Bulletz review to a more enticing subject matter: casino bonuses. I’ll look at the welcome bonus, regular bonuses, check for tournaments and other promotions, and look into any loyalty program.

Bonus risks
Players should be aware that bonuses come with wagering requirements that must be met to gain the bonus money. Often, they require players to bet the bonus amount 30 or 40 or more times over. Over 80% of players lose money with casino bonuses.

Bulletz welcome bonus

Casino welcome bonuses can be a big draw for many players, and I’d never suggest joining an online casino in Canada that I didn’t think had a good bonus for new players. Bulletz, I can say, has a good welcome bonus, one that gives you some serious casino ammo to start your journey.

Bulletz - Casino Welcome Bonus

New Bulletz players can claim up to $4,000 and 200 free spins over their first 4 deposits of at least $30.

100 of the free spins are awarded on Gates of Olympus, and the other 100 on Book of Dead. That’s two of the biggest slots in the industry.

The bonus and winnings from free spins come with 35x wagering requirements, which are on the friendly side of the industry standard. Players have 3 days to meet those requirements, though, which is on the unfriendly side.

Here’s how Bulletz’s welcome bonus works:

Deposit% of MatchAmountFree SpinsSlot
1st150%up to $1,000100Gates of Olympus
2nd50%up to $500N/AN/A
3rd50%up to $1,000N/AN/A
4th150%up to $1,500100Book of Dead

I like basically everything about Bulletz’s welcome bonus: the amount, the free spins, the slots those spins are good for, and even the wagering requirements of 35x. That’s all solid stuff. Our biggest criticism is of the 3-day terms players have to satisfy the requirements. That’s not a lot of time.

Also, the match percentages on the second and third deposit are a little low, but they’re great on the first and fourth deposits, so I suppose it balances out. The higher max amounts are with the first and fourth deposits, too, so it balances out quite nicely, in fact.

Bulletz’s regular bonuses

Bulletz has weekly bonuses for players in Canada, including reload bonuses, free spins, and cashback bonuses:

  • Weekend reload: On weekends, players can claim a 30% bonus up to $500 and up to 100 free spins with a minimum deposit of $30. The wagering requirements are 15x.
  • Wednesday Mystery: Every Wednesday, players can unlock their 100 free spins with a minimum deposit of $30. 15x wagering requirements.
  • Weekly cashback: All players automatically qualify for 10% cashback if they lose more than $80 the week prior and their account is not winning overall. Cashback must be used within 3 days, but it has zero wagering requirements.

These are pretty great offers, especially given their extremely low to non-existent wagering requirements.

Bulletz’s VIP/loyalty program

Bulletz’s customer support told me that the weekly cashback bonus is the loyalty program. Sure, but I expect more VIP casino bonuses from loyalty programs than just the one.

I also expect my loyalty to be actually rewarded, not just my losses: for Bulletz’s program to be of any benefit, the player needs to lose, so loyal players who don’t lose aren’t rewarded, which is why I refuse to consider this a loyalty program.

Also, Bulletz never mentions it as any sort of loyalty program, so I can’t be wrong.

There is a cashback program at Bulletz (and a pretty good one), but not a loyalty program.

My rating of bonuses available at Bulletz

A strong welcome bonus and favourable regular bonuses are let down by a lack of tournaments or a proper loyalty program.

What I checkedScoreWhy this score?
Welcome Bonus6/7Almost everything about Bulletz’s welcome bonus is excellent: the total amount, the number of free spins, the slots those spins are granted on, and the wagering requirements. Two criticisms hold this grade back, though: the timeframe given to satisfy the requirements and the match percentages on the second and third deposits.
Regular Offers3/4I might want to see more offers from Bulletz, but the wagering requirements on the bonuses that are available are superb. There were no tournaments available during my Bulletz review.
VIP/Loyalty Program1/4I’ll give Bulletz a point here because the cashback program is a great foundation for a loyalty program, but it was also worth at least a couple of points in the “regular offers” section, so the program has been well-weighted in the math here.
Strong bonus program
Bulletz offers a good collection of bonuses, even if I wish there were more tournaments and a proper loyalty program, earning a 10/15 for its bonus program.

Payment methods at Bulletz in Canada

Bulletz accepts the most common casino payment methods in Canada, although I really wish there were more options. Players can deposit and withdraw using any method, though, which is nice. These are the payment methods Bulletz accepts in Canada:

Payment MethodMin DepositMax WithdrawalAverage Deposit TimeAverage Withdrawal Time
Interac$30$2,000Instantup to 7 days
Visa$30$2,000Instantup to 7 days
Mastercard$30$2,000Instantup to 7 days
Neosurf$50$2,000Instantup to 7 days
Financial risks
This is a reminder that gambling involves real money and, therefore, financial risk. Casinos do not open their doors without being favoured to win, which means most players lose over time. This is a reminder to set limits before playing and only gamble what you can afford to lose.

Minimum deposit and withdrawal processing times

The minimum deposit at Bulletz is $30, as is the minimum withdrawal. Players should note that deposits come with a $1 fee, which is unusual. I was shocked when I read this in the casino’s Terms and conditions (paragraph 8.19). Withdrawals are processed within 7 days, as long as the player has completed Buletz’s verification process.

Cryptocurrency accepted at Bulletz in Canada

Bulletz accepts a variety of the most popular cryptocurrencies in Canada:

The dangers of using cryptocurrency
Players should note that using cryptocurrency comes with risks. Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, with their values oftentimes fluctuating rapidly. The Government of Canada, the Bank of Canada, or other financial institutions do not back crypto; it is not stable nor guaranteed, which leaves users vulnerable to losing large amounts of money. We strongly recommend setting financial limits and investing only what you can afford to lose.

Step-by-step guide on how to withdraw from Bulletz

Bulletz requires players to verify their accounts with the casino before withdrawals are processed in Canada. I will go over the necessities for that below. Once verified, players will follow a simple process for withdrawing:

  1. Click the yellow “Wallet” button in the top right.
  2. Select the “Withdraw” tab.
  3. Choose the withdrawal method.
  4. Enter the amount to be withdrawn.
  5. Complete any third-party information request related to the chosen withdrawal method.
  6. Click “Withdraw…”

Other important information to know when withdrawing

As I said, players will need to verify with Bulletz to withdraw, which will require verification of your age and identity by sharing the following documents:

  • For age verification, one of the following documents:
  • Passport (recommended)
  • National ID card
  • Birth certificate (verification takes up to 24 hours)
  • Payment card (the first 6 and last 4 digits only made visible, with the other numbers and CVV hidden).
  • For identity verification, Bulletz may require additional documents, such as the following:
  • Signed credit agreement
  • Utility bill (no more than 6 months old)
  • Bank statement (no more than 6 months old)

Other information players should be aware of when withdrawing from Bulletz:

  • Bulletz players must wager all deposited funds 3x before withdrawing them.
  • All wagering requirements must be satisfied.

My rating of Bulletz’s payment methods

Bulletz accepts many cryptocurrencies, but could accept more e-wallets and vouchers. Most significantly, though, the deposit fee is something I can’t get behind.

What I checkedScoreWhy this score?
Payment Options4.5/7Bulletz accepts only the most popular fiat payment methods. I want to see more e-wallets and vouchers among the options in Canada.
Minimum Deposit & Payment Processing Times0.5/4I’m giving Bulletz points because I suppose the minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts could be higher, but a casino with a deposit fee (and slow withdrawals) deserves very few points in this section.
Cryptocurrency3.5/4Bulletz makes up for some of its shortcomings here by accepting a great list of popular cryptocurrencies.
A few more options, sure. A fee, no way!
Bulletz could accept more e-wallets and vouchers, even if its list of acceptable cryptocurrencies is excellent. I cannot get behind the deposit fee, though. Together, Bulletz earns an 8.5/15 for its payment methods.

Bulletz’s games selection

I counted more than 6,000 casino games in Bulletz’s library (ok, I didn’t count them one-by-one, but I added the provider totals together to “count” the number of games available, and it was over 6,000!). That’s a large library, and there have to be some great games in a library that big, right?

As I turn my Bulletz review towards the casino’s games, I’ll look at Bulletz’s online slots, live casino, game shows, and game provider list.

Bulletz - Online Slots
Casino games warning
Players need to keep sight of the fact that casino games are a game of chance. While licensed games are tested by third parties for fairness, they are also weighted in favour of the casino. Most players, therefore, lose over time. It’s why we like to remind players that casino games are a form of entertainment, not a way to make money.

Recommended slots you can play at Bulletz

I love some of the online slots available in Bulletz’s library: Temple Tumble Megaways, Big Bamboo, and Phoenix DuelReels, to name just a few.

While Bulletz has categories for bonus buy slots and megaways slots, which are very useful, I wish there were more filters like these. I like that Bulletz provides its own picks, and that players can filter by provider, though.

There are a lot of great slots available, so I find it difficult to believe that players would have much to complain about here.

Quality live dealer tables at Bulletz in Canada

Bulletz’s live casino contains more than 350 live dealer tables, including live blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and poker tables. There are studio lobbies included in the library, which means there’s a slew of extra live tables available (if the 350+ aren’t already enough for you)! The library is fueled by 3 of the industry’s top live game providers in Pragmatic Play, Vivo, and Live88.

Bulletz - Live Casino Games

Game shows you can play at Bulletz

I could only find 6 game shows in Buletz’s library, but there is no filter or game category for game shows, so they aren’t easy to uncover. The few I found included some big hits, though: Money Time, Sweet Bonanza Candyland, Spaceman, and Snakes & Ladders Live.

Popular game providers Bulletz works with

Bulletz works with some of my favourite game providers in Hacksaw Gaming, Spirbe, Nolimit City, and Push Gaming. Almost 50 studios contribute to Bulletz’s game library in Canada.

My rating of Bulletz’s games selection

Bulletz’s excellent game library could be improved only by better organization, more live poker, and a few extra providers to spice up the catalog slightly.

What I checkedScoreWhy this score?
Games Variety6.5/7Bulletz’s library is big and loaded with quality, but I really wish I could filter for more game types. Also, I didn’t find any exclusive games, which are always nice to see.
Live Casino Experience3.5/4Bulletz’s live casino library is large, especially considering the studio lobbies available that add even more tables to the count. There weren’t as many poker tables as I would like to see, though.
Game Providers3.5/4I like Bulletz’s collection of game providers, but it could be a larger list for even more variety.
Impressive game library
Bulletz’s excellent game library scores an impressive 13.5/15 because it misses very little.

User experience at Bulletz

All this time, I’ve been hanging out at Bulletz, bouncing around its rooms and testing its site, but, really, I’ve been experiencing the casino for what it is. Here, I turn my Bulletz review to the user experience, examining the casino’s customer support, navigation, and how it performs on mobile devices.

Bulletz’s customer support

To contact Bulletz’s customer support team, these are the options available:

Contact:Average Answer Time
email[email protected]12-24 hours
phone+1(123) 456-75-905-15 minutes
live chat24/7 availability on the casino’s website1-3 minutes

Before contacting support, I always like to check the FAQ page to see if it can answer any query I might have first. At Bulletz, the FAQ page is well-designed, but the responses to questions are not specific enough to be very helpful. Thankfully, there’s a prompt support team available on the casino’s live chat, which does provide useful responses. There’s an email and a phone number as well.

User navigation at Bulletz

Bulletz - Mobile Casinos in Canada

I didn’t have many issues navigating the casino’s website for my Bulletz review. There is an issue with the wallet pop-up screen opening to large for the screen, such that you cannot exit it, but I experienced no other problems. There is room for improvement when it comes to game organization and search filters, though.

Bulletz’s mobile experience

Winlandia is optimized for mobile use, although, unlike many of the best mobile casinos in Canada, it does not have a mobile app.

Players won’t have any issues playing at Winlandia on their phone or tablet, though, as the casino was designed to translate smoothly to mobile browsers and does.

My rating of Bulletz’s user experience: 6.5/15

There is room for improvement with Winlandia’s user experience, even if the casino has done a great job with game categories and search functions.

What I checkedScoreWhy this score?
Customer Support6/7Quick and helpful live chat agents ensure you get the answers the FAQ page is unlikely to have.
User Navigation3.5/4Bulletz’s website could have better game organization and search functions, but it is otherwise intuitive and easy to use.
Mobile Experience3.5/4Bulletz is optimized for mobile use, although the casino does not have a mobile app.
Only small tweaks required
Only small improvements are needed to increase Bulletz’s 13/15 user experience score.

Popularity of Bulletz

This is the section of my Bulletz review that ultimately has nothing to do with me (other than my interpretation of the data). What does the general public think about Bulletz? I combed Trustpilot, AnswerThePublic, and Reddit to get a sense of the casino’s standing in the public’s eye.

What I checkedScoreWhy this score?
Player Reputation6.5/10I always take user reviews with a grain of salt, so the few wildly happy reviews and the few completely disappointed reviews I found find a balance somewhere in the middle. Given there were a few more happy reviews than disappointed, this score seems correct.
Market Visibility5/10While players are talking about Bulletz in Canada, the number of comments across all platforms is much lower than some of the most popular casinos.
Building a reputation
Bulletz isn’t the most established online casino in Canada, but it is building a reputation, one that currently sees a mix of happy and disappointed users, and leads to an 11.5/20 score.

Nice ammo and great aim, but it doesn’t always hit the mark

Bulletz is an overall solid online casino for players in Canada. It’s secure and trustworthy. It offers a great welcome bonus and follows that up with great regular bonuses as well. The casino has a large library of quality games. It has reliable customer support and a reliable user experience.

Bulletz aims at a lot of great targets and hits them on the mark.

I think it misses the mark in some key places, though, as well.

The responsible gambling page needs work to not only provide players with proper tools and resources, but also to merely communicate its own message clearly. The lack of a proper loyalty program is disappointing, even if the cashback program provides a solid foundation for one. I’ll add a few smaller items to the list, like Bulletz’s lack of tournaments and limited fiat payment options, as well as the general public opinion, which appears to vary greatly.

The largest grievance I have with Bulletz, though, is the automatic deposit fee of $1. That is a massive blemish in my mind, and it allows me to feel quite confident in handing out a 66/100 final grade to conclude my Bulletz review.
