Our ‘How We Review Casinos‘ page provided the methodology used for my BigClash review. As it guides all our casino reviews, this one is divided into six parts:
- BigClash’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
- Bonuses and offers from BigClash
- Payment methods accepted by BigClash
- BigClash’s game selection
- The user experience at BigClash
- Popularity of BigClash
BigClash’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
Our collection of the best online casinos in Canada is one that players can trust because we put player safety at the forefront of our review process. It’s the first thing I’ll consider for my BigClash review, focusing on the casino’s licence, responsible gambling efforts, and security measures.
| Legal gambling age |
|---|
| The legal gambling age in most Canadian provinces and territories is 19 years old (in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec, though, it is 18), meaning online casino operators must verify every player’s age to ensure minors do not gamble. Each province and territory is regulated provincially. For example, gambling in Ontario is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). Visit our Licensing page for more information. |
BigClash’s licences
I did not find BigClash’s licence information on its website, but was able to acquire the information by emailing their support team:
Responsible gambling in BigClash
On BigClash’s Responsible Gambling page, players will find the following resources:
- Basic RG advice
- A self-assessment test
- The option to self-exclude by contacting support
- Links to help organizations
- A link to a parental control tool
The Responsible Gambling page at BigClash includes all the essentials, but the casino provides no tools for setting limits to deposits, losses, wagers, or session lengths. Players cannot set reality checks either. BigClash does provide good information and helpful links, but it ultimately lacks proper responsible gambling tools.
| Addiction risk: play responsibly |
|---|
| While casino games are meant to be fun, gambling can become addictive and lead to harmful consequences if players do not play responsibly. With this in mind, we encourage players to look out for signs that might indicate problem gambling: – Chasing losses – Playing for longer than intended – Gambling with more money than intended – Disguising gambling activity from other people – Borrowing money to gamble If you recognize any of these signs, consider contacting any of the following help organizations: – ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600) – Gamblers Anonymous Canada – Gambling Therapy |
What makes BigClash safe
BigClash is a bit tight-lipped about its website security, saying nothing more than that it has implemented “administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.” That sounds good, but what does it really mean? It hardly says anything more than the word “security” does.
I appreciate that BigClash has a Data Protection Officer, though; that’s great. The casino also keeps player funds in separate accounts from its own, which is reassuring. I still wish the casino told me more about its website security.
My rating of BigClash’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security
BigClash is a safe casino for players in Canada; it’s just hardly obvious about it.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Licences | 2.5/7 | BigClash has a reliable licence, but it fails to share the information on its website. |
| Responsible Gambling | 4.5/7 | BigClash’s easy-to-read Responsible Gambling page has the essentials, but no tools. |
| Security | 3/6 | BigClash doesn’t reveal much about its website’s security, but the casino does have a DPO, secure banking practices, and clear Terms. |
| It passes |
|---|
| Sure, BigClash passes our security check, but the casino seems to lack transparency (along with responsible gambling tools), leading to a 10/20 rating. |
Bonuses and offers at BigClash
Casino bonuses: players weigh bonuses heavily in their math for great casinos, and so do we. Here, my BigClash review evaluates the casino’s welcome bonus, regular offers, tournaments, and loyalty program.
| Bonus risks |
|---|
| Players should be aware that bonuses come with wagering requirements that must be met to gain the bonus money. Often, they require players to bet the bonus amount 30 or 40 or more times over. Over 80% of players lose money with casino bonuses. |
BigClash’s welcome bonus
The first consideration for a lot of players is the casino’s welcome bonus for new players.

New BigClash players can claim a 100% welcome bonus of up to $750, 200 free spins, and 1 bonus crab with their first deposit of at least $30.
The free spins are awarded 20 per day for 10 consecutive days, and they expire after 24 hours. Free spins come with 40x wagering requirements, which is a tad high. The bonus money comes with 35x wagering requirements, though, which is a bit better. Players have 10 days to meet those requirements, which is fair.
Overall, the offer is a good one. The match percentage is great. The match amount is decent, even if it could be higher. The wagering requirements, too, are acceptable, around the industry average.
It’s nothing special from BigClash, but it’s a good welcome bonus.
Regular bonuses
BigClash offers a pair of weekly reload bonuses and a weekly cashback bonus to players in Canada:
- Weekly Reload: From Sunday evening to Thursday evening, players can claim 50 free spins with a minimum deposit of $30 (40x wagering requirements).
- Weekend Reload Bonus: From Thursday evening to Sunday evening, players can claim a 50% bonus of up to $1,050 with 35x wagering requirements for a minimum deposit of $30, or they can add another 50 free spins with 40x wagering requirements for a minimum deposit of $75.
- Live Cashback: Players can claim 25% weekly cashback up to $300 (1x wagering) on losses in the BigClash live casino.
Promotion and tournaments
During my BigClash review, 8 tournaments were running. The prize pools ranged from 1,100 casino coins to €20,000. The casino provided plenty of options, even if I’ve seen bigger prize pools.
BigClash’s VIP/loyalty program

BigClash offers a very typical loyalty program, but one that has its definite advantages. Players make their way through 5 VIP levels, obtaining improved VIP casino bonuses as they progress. The big prize here is the cashback, which takes effect in level 3. That is my biggest criticism of the program: that most of the actual benefits aren’t given until level 3. Here’s how BigClash’s VIP program works:
| Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Level 5 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Personalized offers | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Daily/monthly withdrawal limit | $750/ $10,500 | $750/ $15,000 | $1,200/ $18,000 | $1,500/ $23,000 | $2,300/ $30,000 |
| Weekly cashback % | ❌ | ❌ | 5% | 10% | 15% |
| Weekly cashback max | ❌ | ❌ | $1,500 | $3,000 | $4,500 |
| VIP manager | ❌ | ❌ | ❌ | ✅ | ✅ |
My rating of bonuses available at BigClash
BigClash has a good bonus program, which means it also isn’t great.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome Bonus | 5.5/7 | BigClash offers a fairly standard welcome bonus. The free spins total is good, but the wagering requirements could be better. |
| Regular Offers | 3/4 | They could be better, but BigClash provides players with a consistent flow of bonuses and tournaments. |
| VIP/Loyalty Program | 2.5/4 | Any VIP program that has a cashback aspect is good, and BigClash achieves that, but I really don’t appreciate that it takes until level 3 of the program before the program becomes properly advantageous. |
| Good but not great |
|---|
| At each turn, BigClash’s bonus program errs in a way that prevents it from reaching greatness, as good as its 11/15 rating is. |
Payment methods at BigClash in Canada
BigClash accepts a wide variety of casino payment methods, although only half of them work for both depositing and withdrawing:
| Payment Method | Min Deposit | Max Withdrawal | Average Deposit Time | Average Withdrawal Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac | $10 | $3,000 | Instant | 3-7 business days |
| PlayID | $20 | $2,200 | Instant | 3-7 business days |
| Visa | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Mastercard | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| MuchBetter | $20 | $7,500 | Instant | 3-4 business days |
| Neosurf | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Paysafecard | $15 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| MiFinity | $20 | $3,500 | Instant | 3-4 business days |
| Neteller | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Skrill | $20 | $8,065 | Instant | N/A |
| Cash2Code | $20 | N/A | Instant | N/A |
| Bank transfer | N/A | $10,000 | Instant | 3-7 business days |
| Financial risks |
|---|
| This is a reminder that gambling involves real money and, therefore, financial risk. Casinos do not open their doors without being favoured to win, which means most players lose over time. This is a reminder to set limits before playing and only gamble what you can afford to lose. |
Minimum deposit and withdrawal processing times
The minimum deposit at BigClash is $10, which is also the minimum withdrawal amount (both for Interac transactions). Both are quite low. The maximum withdrawal depends on your VIP level.
According to BigClash, withdrawals should be processed by the casino within 3 business days. Payouts will then be deposited into player accounts, either immediately or within 5 business days after that, depending on the payment provider. This is a standard wait time.
Cryptocurrency accepted at BigClash in Canada
BigClash accepts three of the most popular cryptocurrencies in Canada: Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Litecoin. For the latter two, the minimum deposit and withdrawal is $20, but for Bitcoin, the minimum deposit is $45 and the minimum withdrawal is $90.
| The dangers of using cryptocurrency |
|---|
| Players should note that using cryptocurrency comes with risks. Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, with their values oftentimes fluctuating rapidly. The Government of Canada, the Bank of Canada, or other financial institutions do not back crypto; it is not stable nor guaranteed, which leaves users vulnerable to losing large amounts of money. We strongly recommend setting financial limits and investing only what you can afford to lose. |
Step-by-step guide on how to withdraw from BigClash
- Click the green coin+ symbol at the top right.
- Select the “Withdraw” tab.
- Choose the withdrawal method.
- Enter the withdrawal amount.
- Enter the requested information related to the chosen payment method.
- Click “Withdraw.”
Other important information to know when withdrawing from BigClash:
- To withdraw, funds must be wagered at least once.
- Wagering requirements must be satisfied to withdraw.
- The casino may request the following (but not limited to) documents to verify your identity before approving a withdrawal:
- Government-issued ID
- Utility bill or bank statement verifying your name and address
- Proof of ownership of the account’s used payment methods
- Additional documents beyond those above may still be required
My rating of BigClash’s payment methods
Players are taken care of when it comes to BigClash’s accepted payment methods, even if cryptocurrencies could be better accommodated in Canada.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Payment Options | 6/7 | BigClash accepts a wide range of payment methods in Canada, but I wish it accepted more for withdrawals. |
| Minimum Deposit & Payment Processing Times | 3/4 | The minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts at BigClash are low. The casino processes transactions at a pretty standard rate. |
| Cryptocurrency | 1.5/4 | Only 3 cryptocurrencies are accepted at BigClash in Canada. |
| More withdrawal methods, and more crypto |
|---|
| BigClash has done a great job of accepting a wide range of payment methods, although it hasn’t done the same for cryptocurrencies: 10.5/15. |
BigClash’s games selection
Here, I turn my BigClash review to the casino’s game library, inspecting its exclusive games, online slots, live tables, game shows, and roster of providers.

| Casino games warning |
|---|
| Players need to keep sight of the fact that casino games are a game of chance. While licensed games are tested by third parties for fairness, they are also weighted in favour of the casino. Most players, therefore, lose over time. It’s why we like to remind players that casino games are a form of entertainment, not a way to make money. |
Exclusive games
Within BigClash’s library, there are nearly 300 exclusive games. Having exclusive games is something I value. Included in the list of exclusive games are games like Dork Unit, which I am sure is not an exclusive game (quite the opposite, as it is at almost every casino that houses Hacksaw Gaming titles). That said, games like Legacy of Lost Gold and Magma Strike Blazing Jackpots Hold & Win are properly exclusive titles.

Recommended slots you can play at BigClash
BigClash has done a reasonable job of dividing its many online slots into categories, such as bonus buy slots, instant games, and megaways slots. I wish the casino would do more of this, though, add in a crash games category or one for high volatility slots. Why not have categories that are based on themes, like ancient Egypt, candy, or buffalo?
Still, BigClash has a big selection and a lot of exciting titles, including these games I’d recommend trying:
Quality live dealer tables at BigClash in Canada
The live casino at BigClash in Canada is packed with the live games players are looking for: more than 120 blackjack tables, over 100 roulette tables, 80-plus baccarat tables, and more than a dozen poker tables. BigClash has organized it live casino into relevant categories, making tables easy to find.

Game shows you can play at BigClash
More than 20 titles appear in BigClash’s game shows category, but like the exclusive category, several games don’t appear to belong: Is Casino Hold ‘Em really a game show? Same question with the many roulette titles that appear in the category. Still, players will find Robin the Fair, 25x Cand Wheel, and Crash Live, among others.

Popular game providers BigClash works with
More than 80 game providers work with BigClash in Canada. The roster includes many of the industry’s trendsetters: Relax Gaming, BGaming, Novomatic, Yggdrasil, Playson, Spinomenal, Betsoft, and Swintt. There are no Pragmatic Play titles, but the lineup is still stellar.
My rating of BigClash’s games selection
A little more organization is all I have to request from Big Clash’s game library.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Games Variety | 6.5/7 | BigClash offers a lot of variety, but the selection could use more organizations than the casino gives it. There’s a nice selection of exclusive games. |
| Live Casino Experience | 4/4 | BigClash has a live casino with more than 300 live tables that are organized into relevant categories. |
| Game Providers | 4/4 | A wide variety of top providers work with BigClash. |
| Tight |
|---|
| If there were better organization of BigClash’s slot selection, I’d give the game library a perfect score, but instead it ends up with an impressive 14.5/15 rating. |
User experience at BigClash
So, what’s it like to actually be at the casino? Well, my BigClash review turns exactly to that now, assessing the casino’s customer support, website navigation, and performance on mobile devices.
BigClash’s customer support
BigClash has a separate Help Centre website that players can utilize for customer support. There, players will find a fairly extensive list of FAQs that are organized into topics. If the FAQ page does not solve your query, BigClash has a responsive 24/7 live chat. I received help within 2 minutes.
My question for the agent was very specific and certainly not something they would normally deal with (“Why is Dork Unit included in the ‘exclusive’ games category when it is not an exclusive game?”). They made me wait for about 30 minutes as they checked “with the relevant department” until I was finally given a canned response to check the Terms or email support for further help. The response was incredibly unsatisfying and a big waste of my time.
To be fair, it was a difficult question, as I said, but if all you’re going to do is tell me to read the Terms (which do not and would never answer the question I asked) and instruct me to email support, why make me wait 30 minutes?
So, yes, BigClash can be contacted by email. In fact, the casino has a second email for the Data Protection Officer specifically.
| Contact: | Average Answer Time | |
|---|---|---|
| [email protected] [email protected] (Data Protection Officer) | 24 hours | |
| live chat | 24/7 on the website | 2-5 mins |
User navigation at BigClash
BigClash’s branding is fun, with bright colours and implied movement that keep players looking. It feels like you’re inside a comicbook.
The casino’s familiar interface makes navigating the website easy. To the left of the screen, a sidebar lists main menu items, allowing players to move freely around the casino. Game categories are listed across the top of the casino and live casino pages, helping to organize BigClash’s large library. I think the casino should use more categories, given the size of the game selection.
BigClash mobile experience
The mobile experience at BigClash matches its desktop experience. The casino’s website is fully optimized to work on mobile browsers.
The best mobile casinos in Canada offer mobile apps, though, and that is something BigClash does not offer. Players can save the casino to their home screen for app-like access to their account, though, which is not the same as a proper app, but it’s at least similar.

My rating of BigClash’s user experience
The user experience at BigClash suffers only from slightly inept support agents.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Customer Support | 5/7 | BigClash has a helpful FAQ page, prompt live chat support, and two email contacts. The support agents could improve their support, though. |
| User Navigation | 3.5/4 | The easy navigation of BigClash could only be improved by a more organized library. |
| Mobile Experience | 3/4 | BigClash works well on mobile browsers and can be added to your browser’s home screen for quick access, but the casino doesn’t have a mobile app. |
| A good experience |
|---|
| There are small improvements to be made here and there with BigClash’s user experience, but it earns an 11.5/15 rating because it’s a reliable experience. |
Popularity of BigClash
As we approach the end of my BigClash review, we check in with you, the public, by surveying online user review platforms and social media sites to get a sense of the public’s opinion of the casino. This is what I found.
| What I checked | Score | Why this score? |
|---|---|---|
| Player Reputation | 3/10 | BigClash does not have a very good reputation online. The majority of the user reviews online are negative, usually complaining about difficulties withdrawing. |
| Market Visibility | 4/10 | TrustPilot featured a modest number of BigClash reviews, but I did not find a single social media account for the casino. BigClash is known, but still has a fair amount of work left to do on this front. |
| Work left to do |
|---|
| BigClash has work to do to improve its visibility in the market and its reputation, earning a 7/20 popularity rating. |
Bash and crash casino
BigClash offers a fun experience, full of crashes and bashes.
The casino’s branding really sets the stage, with vibrant colours and characters who all look like people you wouldn’t want to get into a fight with (i.e., they are jacked MMA fighters standing in a ring ready to go). Friendly looking, though, like you want to be their friend (because they’ll do any necessary crashing and bashing for you).
BigClash lives up to its own look with a game library packed with punches. The library has more than 9,000 titles in it from a roster of all-star studios. The more than 300 live casino games only make the hits land harder. In a good way, of course.
The bonus program is pretty good, too, with weekly reload bonuses, cashback opportunities, and a steady loyalty program.
Players shouldn’t have many issues finding the right payment method to use, either, as BigClash accepts a variety of fiat methods and three of the most popular cryptocurrencies.
The casino offers a good package of hits, even though there are plenty of small and not-so-small improvements it could make, most notably its transparency and popularity. BigClash should add more responsible gambling tools, as well.
The casino isn’t quite a smash, but there are enough bashes to leave my BigClash review to conclude with a 64.5/100 final rating.
