Star Bounty Symbols and Payouts

In the base game, you’ll also come across the missile wilds feature. The missile symbol is a hexagon with the image of a small missile. It can land on reels 2 to 4, and when it appears, it shoots out random missiles to other hexagons on the reels. These explode, turning the symbols into wilds, giving you the opportunity to make more combos. 

Re-spins

Once you’ve landed three or more of the scatter symbols showing free spin, you’ll enter the re-spin mode. This part of the game precedes the free spins bonus game, where big wins are waiting. Your free spin scatters lock into place, and the reels spin again to see if any more free spin symbols appear. You can keep going until you don’t get any more scatters, which means the maximum number of free spins you can get is 24.

Tumbling Reels

Known in this game as tumbling reels, and commonly called cascading reels, the base game derives most of the excitement thanks to this feature. We like the hexagon-shaped reels of this slot. We liked them even more when we discovered that after you land a winning combination, the winning symbols vanish from the reels and new ones take their place. 

It’s a chance to continue a winning streak without needing to land any special symbols. The reels keep tumbling until the winning combinations stop.

While the other features of the game are a lot of fun, it’s the free spins bonus round that opens up the winning potential. You’ll need at least three scatter symbols, which say free spin on them, to start the bonus game. If you find yourself waiting too long for this, there’s also the option to buy free spins. 

First, you’ll encounter the re-spin feature, which determines how many free spins you’ll have. Next, you’re taken to another screen, although the grid and format are much the same as the base game. You’ll have anything between three to 24 free spins to enjoy in this part of the game.
