There are several tools to practice safe gambling, too. Deposit limits are available on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to control your spending. You can also control the length of your sessions with session limits, which will log you out when you’ve exceeded your allowed time. Reality checks will keep track of how long you’ve been playing for.

To take a break, you can either use a time-out, which has a minimum period of 24 hours and a maximum of six weeks, or you can use self-exclusion, which is set to six months. Permanent account closure is also an option.

Barz’ Mini Cash Giveaway is a weekly draw where you can win a share of $500. Ten winners are drawn every week. You’ll need a Mini ticket to enter, which is worth 100 points. For every $40 wagered, you’ll earn 1 point. You also need to deposit at least $100 during the promotional period.

Rock ‘n’ Reel

After you’ve made your first deposit, you can take your first wheel spin. These are available every 24 hours, for the chance to claim rewards, bonuses, and free spins.

Barz loyalty program

Barz’s loyalty program, Catch Drumsticks, awards loyalty points for every $10 wagered. Different games award different points, and you’ll get your first 500 points after your first deposit. Once you have 1,000 loyalty points, you can start redeeming your points for bonus funds. 1,000 points are worth a $5 bonus. Bonus funds have a 40x wagering requirement.

Payment methods in Barz

Barz accepts some of the popular payment options available in Canada, but that doesn’t include iDebit or RapidTransfer. Support informed me that cryptocurrencies aren’t currently accepted.

Minimum deposit & withdrawal processing times

The minimum deposit and withdrawal amount is $20. Payment processing can take up to 48 hours, and after that, it can take around three days for the funds to reach your account. That being said, delays can always occur due to processing issues or verification requirements.

Navigating IntellectBet wasn’t an issue thanks to its clean UX, while customer support was a mixed bag.

You can reach out to Barz’ customer support by email or by using the live chat widget. Email support takes over 24 hours to respond, but live chat is easier. Each time I tested it out, there was always a wait time of around 20 minutes, with quite a few people ahead of me, but it’s still faster than email support. The quality of support is decent, although the support agents weren’t as informed as I expected, especially regarding basics.

You’ll find one of the FAQs pages via the footer. This covers 11 popular questions. From the contact us page, you’ll find the Help Centre, which has an even broader FAQs section. The footer also has a shortcut to the promotional terms. Support is available in French.

User navigation at Barz

Barz’ design is not the most polished, but it’s functional and getting around is easy. The navbar has shortcuts to promotions, casino, and live casino, while the menu has shortcuts to popular game types (although the menu doesn’t work properly), the VIP page, and the contact us page. The search bar is useful for finding games quickly, as are the game filters, although a few more game filters would make it easier to display the game selectio

There isn’t a mobile app, but the Barz website has been optimized for mobile use, making it comfortable to use on the go from your mobile browser.

Popularity of Barz

Online feedback for Barz isn’t great. There are fewer than 100 reviews on TrustPilot, but the average rating is 1.5 stars. The feedback focuses on accounts being closed and several issues with bonuses and withdrawals.

Not hitting the high notes

Barz offers players a good gaming experience, thanks to its game library and the providers it works with. That’s where it kind of ends, since although there are regular promotions, they’re mostly giveaways. Adding some regular reload or free spins bonuses would really boost Barz’ offering.

Some additional payment options would make a difference, too, especially adding crypto. I also expected more from customer support, but the RG suite is great and offers players proper tools. Final score: 60/100
