PariPesa licensing, responsible gambling, and security

PariPesa has clearly put effort into creating dedicated pages for responsible gambling, KYC, AML, a Privacy Policy, and other important information players need. However, one key detail was missing from the footer: the licensing information. After a bit of digging, I found it tucked away at the beginning of the Terms and Conditions page, which is a bit odd.

PariPesa licences

The General Terms part of the Terms and Conditions page states that PariPesa is owned and operated by Optim Development B.V., which is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board (CGCB). The site still has its old licence number displayed: 1668/JAZ (an old licence from the now-retired Curaçao eGaming licensing authority).

After a search in the online gaming licence registry, I found its current number with the CGCB: OGL/2024/255/0601. Note that a CGCB licence doesn’t offer the same level of regulatory oversight as other authorities and doesn’t replace a Canadian licence.

Responsible gambling at PariPesa

There’s a basic responsible gaming page on the site, detailing underage gambling, questions to detect problem gambling, and how to set limits. According to the page, there are two tools: a self-exclusion service that lets players restrict their account for 6 months, 9 months, or 1 year, and a stake limits option. To use these tools, you’ll need to contact customer support.

While the page suggests parental control filters, it does not provide the links to them. The page also fails to make any mention of Help organizations or links to them.

What makes PariPesa safe

PariPesa seems to place a lot of emphasis on privacy, with detailed policies on cookies, AML, KYC, dispute resolution, and more. There’s also a dedicated account security page, which displays recent sessions (with location and IP) and lets you set up a security question and 2FA.

My rating of PariPesa’s licensing, responsible gambling, and security

PariPesa impressed me with its security measures, but responsible gambling tools and information, as well as transparent licensing, were clearly an afterthought.

Bonuses and offers at PariPesa

As PariPesa primarily focuses on its sports betting product, the offers for its casino side are slim. And unfortunately, players can’t activate bonus offers when they make deposits in cryptocurrency.

PariPesa welcome bonus

There are two welcome bonuses available on the site: a sports-only bonus that matches your first deposit up to $150, but I’ll be focusing on the second bonus, the casino welcome bonus.

New players at PariPesa can claim a welcome bonus of up to $2,440 and 150 free spins over their first four deposits:

The bonus requires players to deposit a minimum of $16 for the first deposit and $24 for the following three. The bonus money and free spins come with a 35x wagering requirement that must be met in 7 days.

Other bonuses at PariPesa

PariPesa has plenty of other bonuses, but most are related to sports betting. On the casino side, there’s a birthday bonus, a Saturday Casino Boost, Reload and Free Spins Wednesday, Free Spins Days, 60 Free Bets in Aviator on Fridays, a bonus match, and free spins on Thursdays. It’s a decent variety that should keep returning players engaged throughout the week.

PariPesa promotions and tournaments

7 tournaments were running during my PariPesa review. Most were network competitions, and prize pools ranged from €30,000 to €12,000,000.

PariPesa VIP/loyalty program

I struggled to locate PariPesa’s loyalty program, and that’s because they don’t highlight it very well. I had to ask a live chat agent to clarify, and they directed me to the “Bonuses” area. I scoured through the offers and found “Casino VIP Cashback,” which finally led me to a rundown of the VIP program. In my opinion, it’s not the most attractive page, and it doesn’t explain itself well.

PariPesa’s game selection is by no means the most extensive, but with hundreds of games in different categories, it’s satisfactory.

User experience at PariPesa

If I had to sum up the UX in one word, it would be “decent.” There’s clearly some attention to detail in places, including a fun, relevant CAPTCHA where you have to “score a goal” by aligning a soccer ball with a target circle.

PariPesa’s customer support

PariPesa’s customer support is polite and helpful, with email responses typically taking a few hours and live chat being almost instantaneous. In some cases, the agent may mention that the lines are busy and provide an estimated wait time (often 10–15 minutes).

The site and customer support are also available in many languages (including French).

User navigation at PariPesa

User navigation is generally smooth, but it needs some work in terms of clarity and intuitiveness. For instance, hovering over the slots and live casino categories revealed a list of icons and provider names, which felt confusing. I expected to see clear subcategories for games instead. In the Bonuses section, things get messy, too. Bonuses are presented as a bunch of tiles with no method to the madness. 

PariPesa’s mobile experience

When I tried to download the native app, it stated that it wasn’t available in my country or region. I then noticed that the instructions required users to go into their App Store settings and change their Country/Region to Nigeria and use a specific address, which was odd. The mobile browser was decently optimized, but the UI was quite inconsistent in design. When playing certain games, there wasn’t an on-screen back button, so I had to rely on the browser to navigate.

My rating of PariPesa’s user experience

I was happy with the user experience, but instantly spotted areas that needed improvement. With a native app available globally and more attention given to navigation issues on the site, PariPesa could elevate the experience.

Popularity of PariPesa

PariPesa has a limited presence on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as some mentions in reviews and articles. However, as of March 2026, the platform has a 2.2/5 rating from 339 Trustpilot reviews, giving it a “Poor” rating. While there are quite a few 5-star reviews, the vast majority are 1-star.

Players primarily mention withdrawal issues and bonuses with tough “ultimatums.” 

Play or Pass?

I’ll start by reiterating that PariPesa’s main product is its sportsbook, so the casino naturally feels like a secondary offering. That shows in areas like game depth, platform polish, and overall attention to detail, which don’t quite match the standard that casino-first sites typically deliver. It works well enough for casual play, but it doesn’t fully compete with platforms where the casino is the primary focus.

All things considered, I conclude with a rating of 67.5/100.
