For the most part, any licensing, responsible gambling, and security information is found in the footer of an online casino site, and the same goes for Hit Me. Here, the footer stands out in a bold container, displaying everything players need to check the casino’s credentials and safety measures at a glance.

However, the text is written in broken English, which might make some players question the overall trustworthiness of the platform. Hit Me has quite a few trust signals around the site. There’s a KYC and AML Policy, Terms and Conditions, mentions of SSL Versions TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 with 256-bit encryption, fraud prevention information, HTTP/2 and QUIC protocols, and tons of other detailed information to reassure players that their money and personal information are handled responsibly. I could not find a Data Protection Officer or settings for two-factor authentication, though, and the “Fair Play” page leads to licensing details rather than RNG information.

Whether the platform really heeds all of its policies or is simply going through the motions remains to be seen. Combined with the occasional broken English, the policies give off a bit of a “checking the boxes” impression rather than inspiring full confidence.

Hit Me keeps its VIP program simple, with five tiers that come with escalating perks. Every €5 (or the equivalent) gets players 1XP. With 2,000 XP required to go from Bronze to Silver, you’d have to wager a total of €10,000.

Minimum deposits are generous for Interac at $5, but slightly higher for e-wallets and cards at $20. The Terms and Conditions state that the site aims to process payments in 48 hours, but approval may take up to 7 days. Withdrawals are faster at Hit Me with cryptocurrencies.

With over 8,000 games available, Hit Me has a large selection that includes titles from all categories. I like that there’s both a “Favorites” section and a “Recently Played” section, so you can jump right back into the action.

User experience at Hit Me

Browsing and playing on Hit Me was a pleasant experience. The main menu is robust and even has areas of personalization, while the filters and categories make it easy to jump from place to place. Customer support may need a little lift, though.

Hit Me’s customer support

Hit Me’s email support is questionable. I got a confirmation email saying a support ticket was generated and that I would receive an initial response within 2 hours. After 14 hours, I still hadn’t gotten anything. Fortunately, the live chat is much better. Players instantly get connected to an agent, but I noticed the chat bubble can get lost, and there’s no other way to locate live chat.

The site and support are available in multiple languages, including French.

User navigation at Hit Me

I would call the navigation straightforward and smooth, with a clean layout. However, a few small improvements, like better labelling on the game thumbnails and a less busy footer, could enhance it further. While I did initially like the dedicated footer box, all the icons are unnecessarily distracting. Also, while I really like the search filters, I’d like the casino to include more categories to further organize the game library.

Hit Me’s mobile experience

Hit Me doesn’t have a native app, but the site does encourage players to place an icon link to the mobile browser on their home screens. The mobile browser experience itself is user-friendly and polished, mirroring the desktop site.

My rating of Hit Me user experience

I didn’t like how the social icons seemed more like a “front” than anything, with the Facebook link leading to a page with only three followers and the Instagram page having 16.5K followers despite only having 4 posts. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that the browsing and gaming experience is enjoyable and optimized.

Popularity of Hit Me

Hit Me is reviewed by a couple of sites on Google and even has a LinkedIn page and socials to “prove” its legitimacy. Upon browsing, however, these seem like more of a facade. The fact that the casino doesn’t have a Trustpilot page is also a huge downside. Because of that, I’m unable to view any player ratings or comments.

Hit or Miss?

Hit Me Casino delivers a mixed overall experience, with a solid game library, decent platform design, and a functioning VIP program that helps balance out its weaker areas. On the downside, the Anjouan licensing feels lighter than more established regulators, customer support could be stronger, and bonuses aren’t a major focus. 

It’s an okay option, but there’s certainly room to grow in key areas of trust and support.

Given that, my overall rating of Hit Me is 65/100.
