Book of 99 symbols and payouts
The Book of 99 slot has nine paying symbols, which are a mixture of classic card symbols and characters from Greek mythology, such as the Cyclops. The card symbols, which are the low-paying symbols, are 10, J, Q, K, and A. With all the low-paying symbols, a minimum of three is needed for a win. Landing three 10s, Js, or Qs, with your bet set to the minimum of $0.10, pays out $0.05. If you land five symbols, that’s $1. The high-paying symbols are four Greek mythology characters: Lamia, the Cyclops, a woman with green eyes and a purple hood, and a man with a quiver of arrows and a golden laurel. The Book of 99’s special features are all connected to the Wild. In this game, the Wild is represented by the Book of 99: a brown leather-bound book with gold edging and 99 on the cover. The Wild substitutes for all symbols except the special expanding symbol in free spins, but it also has a few other roles.
Free Spins
Free spins are triggered when three or more Wilds land on the reels. This awards 10 free spins, which can be re-triggered during the free spins round if three Wilds land on the reels again.
Book Collection
To the left of the grid, there’s the collection metre, which starts at zero and goes all the way to 99. For every Wild symbol that lands on the reels during the game, the collection metre is increased by one.
