Fist of Destruction Review
Ready? Fight! Hacksaw Gaming offers a lot of punch for our Fist of Destruction review to unpack – and a whole lot of uppercuts!
Fist of Destruction’s symbols and payouts
We approach the best online slots in Canada by attempting to review a game’s every detail. We begin with the basics, though, where our Fist of Destruction review begins: the game’s main symbols, paylines, payouts, maximum win amount, RTP, and volatility.
Game symbols
Fist of Destruction has 9 main symbols: two blue warriors, two red warriors, and 5 traditional playing cards, 10 up to the Ace. It is important to notice now that there are blue and red teams, as this will help in understanding the special features later in our Fist of Destruction review. The game has special symbols as well, which we will also go over later.
Number of paylines
Fist of Destruction features 5 reels, 4 rows, and 14 pay lines. The board pays when symbols match a pay line left to right on 3 or more consecutive reels.

Payouts
There are only three different pay levels Fist of Destruction symbols fall into. A red and blue warrior each pays out the same highest amount, respectively, followed by the other two warriors, and, finally, all of the playing cards pay out the same amounts. As we will see, the wild symbol also pays.

Min/max bet
The minimum bet in Fist of Destruction is $0.10, and the maximum bet is $100. The range is not horrible, but we would like Hacksaw Gaming to include a higher max bet to attract large bankrolls.
Maximum Win
Fist of Destruction has a maximum payout of 10,000x the bet. With the max bet of $100, players can win a maximum of $1,000,000 playing Fist of Destruction.
RTP and volatility
The Return to Player (RTP) of Fist of Destruction is 96.3%. That makes the game one to include in the high-RTP slots category. With its medium-high volatility, Hacksaw Gaming has developed a game that doesn’t ask players to wait too long for wins, and ensures they’re usually of a decent size. It’s a good mix.
Fist of Destruction’s slot special features
A game’s special features are what excite players. Hacksaw Gaming has done another great job balancing features with simplicity, or, at least, features we are familiar with. Our Fist of Destruction review turns to check out the game’s wild symbol, wild reels, scatter symbol, free spins round, and bonus buy feature.
Wild symbol

As expected, the wild symbol in Fist of Destruction substitutes for any of the game’s main symbols to complete matches. Wilds appear in the base game and the free spins rounds. As we mentioned above, the wild symbol pays out: it equals the top-paying warrior symbols’ payout amount, but only when matching across all 5 reels.
Wild reels

Fist of Destruction utilizes a wild reels feature that is a literal uppercut on the reels. Blue and red fist symbols work as expanding wilds when the land, punching upwards on their respective reel. This makes the entire reel above the fist symbol wild. If there are no matches to be made, the fist will not punch up.
Moreover, if there is a warrior from the other team above the wild reel fist symbol (say, a blue warrior, above a red wild reel fist), then the fist punches that warrior and adds a random multiplier (from 2x to 200x) to any matches the wild reel contributes to.

Scatter symbol

The scatter symbol in Fist of Destruction will be familiar to those who have played Hacksaw Gaming games. An FS symbol activates different free spins rounds when enough of them land anywhere on the reels.
Throwdown bonus game
Landing 3 FS symbols anywhere on the board activates a Throwdown, which gives players 10 free spins. During the Throwdown bonus game, hitting 2 FS symbols adds 2 free spins, and hitting 3 FS symbols adds 4 free spins.
The wild reels become more significant during the Throwdown. The blue and red teams are each given a Victory Level of 3 to start the round. Meters on either side of the reels keep track of how many opposing team’s warriors have been uppercut during the Throwdown free spins round. Every third punch adds another Victory Point to the respective team’s Level while awarding an Epic Drop™ respin, which guarantees fist symbols. The number of fist symbols that land during the Epic Drop™ depends on the Victory Level of the team:
- Victory Level 3: At least 3 fist symbols of the winning team’s color are guaranteed.
- Victory Level 4: At least 4 fist symbols of the winning team’s color are guaranteed.
- Victory Level 5: 5 fist symbols of the winning team’s color are guaranteed.

Ultimate Throwdown bonus game
Landing 4 FS symbols anywhere on the board activates the Ultimate Throwdown. All the rules of the Throwdown apply, but this time, each team begins the round at Victory Level 4.
Buy feature
It seems Hacksaw Gaming has made Fist of Destruction with the bonus buy slots category in mind, as the game offers players several bonus buy options. Players in Canada can jump directly into either of the game’s two free spins rounds, as well as increase the odds of scatter symbols or buy fist symbols.

Fist of Destruction’s graphics and sound
As usual, Hacksaw Gaming’s graphics kick some serious butt. The artwork is straight out of a Spawn comic. The graphics are sharp, and the animations are smooth. The reels are framed by a warrior from either team, blue or red, on either side. Players have the option to switch the team member shown, although that does not affect the game in any way. We think it would be cooler if the chosen warriors were the higher-valued symbols, but that still wouldn’t affect gameplay either way.
The music offers a dark, synth-led beat that creates an intense atmosphere. The swiping sound of punches is heard when paylines are hit. When the free spins round is activated, the music offers a more dominant, high-pitched melody to accentuate the excitement of the round. Punches are heard connecting when a team lands a Victory Point, and the shown warrior, framing the reels, is left teetering in a daze after receiving the punch.
Hacksaw Gaming is never disappointing when it comes to graphics and sound, and our Fist of Destruction review certainly wasn’t disappointed by this game – we loved it!

The game looks as fantastic on a phone or tablet as on our desktop or laptop. The redesign makes the controls easy to use, with everything within a finger’s or thumb’s length away. All the features are there, and none of the experience is lost.

Solutions if you have issues with Fist of Destruction
Please use these solutions our Fist of Destruction review has found to remedy the most common problems players encounter while playing the game:
- Game interruption: Restart Fist of Destruction to resume the game at its previous point of play. Only winning results from the previous round will be displayed upon restart. Players can view all completed rounds in the Game History.
- Incomplete rounds of Fist of Destruction are paused until the player completes the round or until after one day of inactivity. After one day of inactivity, the round is made void, and all bets are returned to the player’s account.
- Misuse or malfunction voids all pays and plays.
- Players with other issues should contact Hacksaw Gaming’s customer support team.
A knockout in so many ways
Fist of Destruction packs a wallop of a punch. The usual Hacksaw Gaming graphics and artwork abound: stylish, sharp, and with a lot of character. Players even get to select which characters they see framing the reels, although we do wish the developer did more with this feature.
The game mechanics are simple enough to grasp quickly and unique enough to keep Fist of Destruction exciting. We’ve seen Hacksaw Gaming utilize mechanics like the wild reels mechanic before, but it’s used to perfection here. Free spin rounds and added layers only make the game all the more irresistible.
With a medium-high volatility, 96.3% RTP, and max win amount, Fist of Destruction is ultimately designed to provide players with fun, and it delivers. We do wish there were a higher bet maximum, though.
In the final round, our Fist of Destruction review had little to dislike and much to love, settling on a 90 out of 100 final score.
